Kim Soo Hyun chooses between ‘Moon’ co-stars Han Ga In and Kim Yoo Jung

Actor Kim Soo Hyun recently sat down for an interview with TV Chosun‘s ‘Entertainment in TV‘, and was asked to choose between actresses Han Ga In and Kim Yoo Jung.

When put between his two ‘The Moon That Embraces the Sun‘ co-stars, Kim Soo Hyun couldn’t decide on just one so he ended up choosing both. Without hesitation, he stated with a laugh, “I’ll have both. Since I was a king in the drama, don’t you think I can have both?”

On a more serious topic, he went on to discuss why he cried with his senior and junior co-stars after the drama came to an end.

Han Ga In explains the reason why she turned down the offer to appear on ’1 Night 2 Days’

From dramas to movies, actress Han Ga In revealed a new image of herself after appearing on an episode of SBS‘s ‘Running Man‘. Just a year ago, Han Ga In appearing on a variety show was practically unthinkable for her.

Back in May of last year, Han Ga In was actually offered to appear on the “Actress Special” of KBS‘s ‘1 Night 2 Days‘. Unfortunately, she ended up turning down the offer and instead, Kim Ha Neul, who was under the same agency at that time, agreed to appear on the variety program in her stead. Viewers were able to see the six actresses’ (Kim Ha Neul, Kim Soo Mi, Choi Ji Woo, Seo Woo, Lee Hye Young, and Yeom Jung Ah) true personalities as well as their hidden charms through this episode.

On a recent interview with StarIn, Han Ga In explained the reason why she turned down the offer to appear on the show. “I was afraid that my ‘true personality’ would be revealed,” she said.

“But it wasn’t intentional. When people first think of ‘Han Ga In’, the majority view me as being sentimental and feminine but, I’m actually the total opposite. I’m very easy-going, playful, and very competitive. However, exactly a year ago, I was worried and afraid that my true personality would be revealed to the public. To be honest, I underestimated myself for a long time.”

When asked about how she felt after her recent appearance on ‘Running Man’, the actress expressed her disappointment saying, “I was expecting much more and I didn’t run as much. I could’ve shown viewers more of my personality in addition to what was already shown.”

The interviewer then questioned if she would accept the offer if she was given another chance to appear on ’1 Night 2 Days’ to which she replied, “Now that season 2 has just began, I think the fixed members on the show should first have the opportunity to be more comfortable with each other. But if they were to invite me again, I’ll gladly accept the offer.”

She then laughed saying, “Even Cha Tae Hyun oppa is on the show so I think it’ll be fun.”

Han Ga In looks stunning even while chewing on bread?

It seems for a beautiful actress like Han Ga In, even a simple photo while eating pastry can stir much interest.

On March 27th, a user uploaded a four-set selca of the actress chewing on bread with the caption, ‘Han Ga In, nibbling bread’.

Although, the user did not mention where the photos were taken, it may have been shot during her lunch break on the set of her movie ‘Introduction to Architecture’.  The weather must have been atrocious as Han Ga In is seen wearing a thick, water-proof jacket along with several layers of clothing beneath.  What’s got netizens buzzing, however is how beautiful the actress looks while chewing on a piece of bread in casual wear.

Netizens flocked the comment box and left, “You look absolutely stunning no matter what you eat“, “I’ve never seen someone who looks this beautiful while eating bread“, and “I’ve fallen for her charms“.

Han Ga In reveals that her first love was HaHa

On the latest episode of ‘Running Man‘, Han Ga In was reunited with her first love, HaHa. She discovered a note while giving HaHa a hug, bringing her on the verge of tears.

Han Ga In guested on the March 25th broadcast of SBS TV‘s ‘Running Man’ as the ‘First Love Icon’.

Through a drawing hint, it was revealed that Han Ga In’s first love was HaHa, leading HaHa to share a hug with the actress. In addition, when the pictures were brought together, the word ‘jumper’ was hinted.

Han Ga In searched HaHa’s jumper and discovered a note that was attached in the back. The note stated, “I like you. From your friend Ga In.” Han Ga In became momentarily emotional, bringing her close to tears.

Meanwhile, Han Ga In and HaHa were able to remove the name tags of the five ‘Running Man’ members and arrive at the final mission destination, drawing much attention from viewers.

Behind every kiss scene there is a story, and recently viewers were given a glimpse into Han Ga In and Kim Soo Hyun‘s awkward kiss scene.

On the March 11th broadcast of MBC‘s ‘Section TV Entertainment News‘, the behind the scenes footage of Han Ga In and Kim Soo Hyun’s kiss scene was revealed.

As the two stars prepared to film the scene for popular drama “The Moon that Embraces the Sun“, they could barely hide their embarrassment. Han Ga In was reduced to pinching her thighs to keep herself from laughing while Kim Soo Hyun kept up a sheepish giggle.

The kiss scene was originally supposed to involve a light kiss but as the director began to ask for a deeper kiss, the embarrassment of the two stars continued to mount. Ultimately the scene took three retakes to shoot, and once it was over, Han Ga In drew laughs on set by exclaiming, “Whew. I thought I was going to die!”

Han Ga In states that she’s a different person off-screen

Actress Han Ga In revealed that her personality is different from what the public assumes due to her on-screen roles.

On March 6′s episode of MBC‘s ‘Feel Good Day’, Han Ga In was interviewed while on the set of ‘The Moon That Embraces the Sun’.

That day, Han Ga In revealed what she usually does in her daily life saying, “I’m more busy on days when we’re not filming. There are so many things to do. Ususally I wake up, eat breakfast, and go to class. I work out so after I come back from exercising I have to eat again and before I know it, the day’s already over.”

She continued, “I don’t like the gaps in between my schedule so I try to keep it tight.”

When the staff of ‘Feel Good Day’ asked Han Ga In to appear on the show as a guest, she responded, “On shows like this and talk shows, the two things I hear the most are, ‘You’re a lot taller than what I thought’ and ‘Your personality is so different from what you seem like on TV.’ They think this because they thought I would be small, and very careful of my behavior, but I show up and I’m a lot taller than what I seem, laugh out loud, and act carefree.”

Actress Han Ga In was spotted at the “2012 BIG SHOW BIG BANG ALIVE TOUR” in Seoul.

On the 3rd, a paparazzi-like photo of Han Ga In was uploaded on an online community bulletin board. In the photo, Han Ga In is seen staring directly at the stage, enjoying the concert in casual clothes.

She wasn’t seated in a special VIP area, rather she chose to attend the concert in standing area with the fans.

On March 4th’s episode of MBC ‘Section TV’, there was a special for Kim Soo Hyun, who plays the king in the hit drama ‘The Moon That Embraces the Sun’.

Recently on ‘The Moon That Embraces the Sun’, Kim Soo Hyun and Han Ga In had a kiss scene and Kim Soo Hyun expressed his thoughts saying, “It was my first time doing a kiss scene that was that long.”

He continued, “After kissing and kissing again, railings were set on the floor and the camera rotated around us about five times.”

He also shared how this kiss scene was physically hard for him saying, “It was hard to hold my breath. Right when I heard ‘cut’, I finally let go of the breath I was holding. My stamina was greatly reduced because of that kiss.”

Han Ga In of MBC‘s popular drama, ‘The Moon the Embraces the Sun‘, has recently drawn attention for having a humorous resemblance to Thomas the Tank Engine.

Recently, an online community post titled, “Han Ga In and Thomas the Tank Engine’s synchronization” has surfaced with the above picture.

The post has become popular among netizens as they humored at the uncanny resemblance in expression between the beautiful actress and the animated train character. The caption on the last picture reads, “Who is Thomas? Is that my twin brother? I cannot remember. I am highly confused.”

Netizens responded to the post by writing, “Thomas looks like Han Ga In’s twin” and, “If Kim Soo Hyun sees Thomas, he will probably think it is Han Ga In“.

Han Ga In reveals that she likes to drink with her staff members

Actress Han Ga In has revealed her drinking habits to the press.

On February 13th, the actress attended the press conference for her upcoming film, ‘Introduction to Architecture‘. For fun, the director of the film came out with Han Ga In’s ‘brain map’ (a diagram pointing out what makes up ‘Han Ga In’), and pointed out a section that read “So-Maek and Karaoke“. ‘So-Maek’ is a Korean acronym for soju and ‘maekju’ — the former is a Korean liquor and the latter is beer.

Han Ga In explained, “It’s an image I’ve hid for 10 years. I like so-maek best out of all drinks. I also love hanging out with staff members.”

She continued, “One time, we all drank so-maek together and then went to karaoke, where I sang ‘Gee‘ and danced to it.”

Han Ga In’s co-star, miss A‘s Suzy, added, “She always asks me how I can dance with heels on. She has a lot of interest in dancing.”

The movie follows the story of a couple who reunite 15 years after their first meeting in an “Intro to Architecture” class in college. It will hit theaters in March.

Han Ga In stuns with her first appearance on ‘The Moon That Embraces The Sun’

Actress Han Ga In has made a stunning first impression in her five-second appearance on ‘The Moon That Embraces the Sun‘.

On January 19th’s episode, a clip was aired introducing the protagonists of the story as young adults. Up to this point, the series focused on their childhood years, but now the story will jump five years into the future. Han Ga In portrays the grown-up version of ‘Yeon Woo‘, who lost her memories and is now living a life as a shaman named ‘Wol‘.

Han Ga In made a dramatic entrance into the series by uncovering her face, which was hooded by a silk cloak. Her beauty and mysterious aura was only shown for five seconds and she had no lines, but the impression was strong enough to wow the audience.

After the clip aired, netizens expressed profuse anticipation for the next episode. “I really wonder what Han Ga In’s character will be like”, “The mysterious aura fits her really well”, and “I’m really starting to get hooked!”

According to AGB Nielsen Media Research, this episode of ‘The Moon That Embraces the Sun’ garnered a viewer rating of 29.3%. Compared to the previous episode’s rating (24.9%), it rose by 4.4%.

Jo Kwon and Ga-In, also known as the ‘Adam Couple‘, thrilled their fans last night after performing their rendition of HyunA and Hyunseung‘s “Trouble Maker” at the 2011 MBC Gayo Daejaejun.

The sexy performance left fans hungry for more ‘Adam’ love, and Cho Young Chul PD fulfilled their wish by tweeting a photo of the two together. He joked, “Ah, that mark on his neck.. is it Ga-In?”

In the photo, a red lipstick stain stands out visibly on Jo Kwon’s neck. Ga-In is seeing staring into the camera with a sly expression on her face, while Jo Kwon seems frozen with his eyes cast downward.

Netizens commented, “I enjoyed the performance greatly. Trouble Maker is good, but the team work between the Adam couple was the best,” and “Adam couple will never die. I was so happy to see this collaboration.”

Brown Eyed Girls’ Ga-In signs a solo album contract with LoenEntertainment

The Brown Eyed Girls‘ Ga-In has announced that she has signed a solo contract with Loen Entertainment.

Ga-In’s activities with the Brown Eyed Girls will continue as usual under the group’s current agency, Nega Network. Nega Network will still be responsible for everything regarding the group as a whole, while Loen Entertainment manages her solo music and acting endeavors.

On December 21st, Loen Entertainment revealed, “Loen and Nega Networks are collaborative labels bringing together artist management and music distribution. The contract is only regarding Ga-In’s solo albums, and is not a formal transfer.”

Nega Networks also confirmed, “There will be no changes to Ga-In’s activities under the Brown Eyed Girls. Her next solo albums will simply be produced under Loen Entertainment, as per the contract.”

Jo Kwon recently revealed a rather interesting trait about his “ex-wife”, Ga-In!

Brown Eyed Girls‘ Ga-In guested on a recording of KBS‘s ‘Secret‘, and 2AM‘s Jo Kwon made a surprise appearance on screen to share a story about Ga-In’s picky tastes.

Jo Kwon stated, “Ga-In insists on drinking water that has a coffee-like fragrance. I heard that it’s a special water only sold in department stores. Moreover, her manager is always holding her coffee for her. Ga-In’s manager has to serve her coffee whenever she calls for him, and when I saw this, I felt she was quite a picky woman.”

Embarrassed by Jo Kwon’s sudden revelation, Ga-In replied, “I like coffee so much that I drink it even before I go to sleep. I usually diet with coffee. To tell you the truth, I give my manager a hard time because I drink so much coffee,” causing the audience to laugh at her quirk.

Jo Kwon talks about Ga-In’s kiss scene with Doojoon from ‘All My Love’

2AM‘s Jo Kwon has intrigued fans once again with new details on Brown Eyed Girl‘s Ga-In‘s kiss scene with BEAST‘s Yoon Doojoon.

Ga-in guested on the latest episode of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Secret‘, only to have the story of her kiss scene NGs with Doojoon from ’All My Love‘ revealed on television.

Jo Kwon came on as a surprise witness of the incident, and explained, “When we were filming the sitcom together, Ga-In acted without NG’s when she was acting with other female actresses; but for some reason, she always had a lot of NG’s when she was acting next to male actors. In particular, she had a ton of NG’s during her kiss scene with Yoon Doojoon.”

Ga-in, who seemed surprised by the subtle accusation, explained, “Because I am a woman, too, I get nervous when acting with male actors. I even got nervous when I was acting with Kim Kap Soo senior,” drawing laughter in the studio.

Brown Eyed Girls concludes “Sixth Sense” promotions, hints at follow-up concept

On October 23rd’s broadcast of SBS‘s ‘Inkigayo‘, the Brown Eyed Girls capped off a brief promotional period for their “Sixth Sense” comeback with a Mutizen trophy.

According to information revealed by Nega Network, the girls will be taking a break for a week before promoting a re-package of their fourth album in the beginning of November. The repackaged album will include their new follow-up track, which the girls have hinted to be something they’ve never tried before.

Ga-In revealed with a bright, confident smile, “Our follow-up stage will be something shocking and unexpected in terms of the other stages we’ve presented thus far.” Unfortunately, she refused to disclose anymore details.

While some have speculated their concept to be even sexier than their former, many more have brought up speculations of a ‘sweet, innocent’ concept.
