Hyosung drops hint about SECRET’s comeback

SECRET‘s Hyosung posted a about the group’s comeback on Twitter. The girl group’s leader tweeted, “[The long-awaited comeback of SECRET >_<! Just wait a bit longer, and it's SECRET time! Coming Soon >_<!"

Fans responded, "Is this from the set of the music video?", "This picture says so many things", "I've been waiting", and more.

TS Entertainement also announced, "[SECRET] will return in mid-September. This album will be a new endeavor for SECRET.”

In other news, SECRET rose to the #6 spot on the Oricon chart with their first Japanese studio album, ‘Welcome to SECRET Time‘, which was released this past 22nd.

BABYs trend three B.A.P hashtags worldwide on Twitter

To celebrate the comeback of B.A.P with their 1st mini album, ‘No Mercy‘, BABY‘s all over the world have gathered to trend the group on Twitter.

A Canadian fan recently alerted TS Entertainment, via B.A.P’s official fancafe, on the group’s worldwide Twitter trend to help prove B.A.P’s ever-growing popularity.

According to the fan, the hashtag “#NOMERCYBAP”, “No Mercy”, and “B.A.P” seized the top 3 spots on Worldwide trend immediately upon the release of ‘No Mercy’ on July 19th.

In addition, the mini album has proved to be performing well overseas. On July 21st, ‘No Mercy’ ranked within the top 10 on the iTunes Top 10 Hip-Hop Albums chart for the U.S., Japan, Canada, and Australia. It has also been reported that the album ranked #2 on the iTunes chart in both Norway and Finland’s iTunes on July 20th.

The group has also attained great success with their debut album, ‘WARRIOR‘, which came in at #10 on the Billboard World Albums Chart. Upon releasing their second single, ‘POWER‘, the album ranked #1 and #2 on iTunes Top 10 Hip-Hop Albums chart for Canada and the U.S, signifying the group’s domestic and overseas popularity.

Meanwhile, B.A.P will be continuing their promotional activities this week.

B.A.P trashes 50,000 copies of their new album due to color print mistake

It has been revealed that B.A.P has trashed all 50,000 copies of their 1st mini-album ‘No Mercy‘ and will be delaying its release to a later date.

B.A.P was scheduled to release the MV of “No Mercy” and the album both on and offline on July 19th. However, the group has decided to discard all 50,000 copies of album due to problems with the finished product.

According to TS Entertainment, “We were initially planning on releasing the physical album on July 19th, but the color print on the finished product was a bit off from what we expected. Therefore, we have decided to discard all albums to present fans with the best as we have promised.”

The release of “No Mercy” immediately reflected on MelOn‘s real-time music chart, placing high upon its release. With a complete 180-degree concept, the boys returned with exciting hip-hop rythms and rock riffs. The song starts off with leader Bang Yong Gook and maknae Zelo‘s dialect rap, followed by samulnori sounds (traditional Korean percussion music).

The MV of “No Mercy”, in particular, is gaining much interest as the director of the MV turned out to be none other than Hong Won Ki of Johnny Bros, who’s famously known for directing music videos for Girls Generation, Seo Taeji, B2ST, Super Junior, and more.

B.A.P will be making their comeback on the July 19th episode of Mnet‘s ‘M!Countdown‘, followed by KBS‘s ‘Music Bank‘ on the 20th, MBC‘s ‘Music Core‘ on the 21st, and SBS‘s ‘Inkigayo‘ on the 22nd. In addition, the boys’ showcase that was held in Malaysia will be aired on Mnet’s ‘Wide Entertainment News‘ on July 19th at 5PM (KST).

B.A.P releases album jacket photos for Zelo, Youngjae, and Bang Yong Guk

After revealing that the boys of B.A.P were slated to make a comeback on July 19th with “No Mercy”, TS Entertainment has released to allthatkpops, several of the album jacket photos for their members Zelo, Youngjae, and Bang Yong Guk.

According to TS Entertainment, the new, 180-degree turnaround concept for the B.A.P members is a ‘pop-boy’ style, meaning someone who takes the lead on style and fashion among his peers.

Using eclectic colors with fanciful, sporty poses, it seems like the boys of B.A.P are ready to show us a side of themselves their fans have never seen before!

‘SBS K-Pop Festival in LA’ postponed

Last week it was revealed that the west coast was in for another treat, as the ‘2012 SBS K-Pop Festival in LA‘ will soon be taking place.

But after the announcement, the event Facebook page as well as Twitter accounts were deactivated and deleted. Many allthatkpops readers were discouraged and upset due to the possibility of a cancellation of the event.

We therefore contacted our sources and received confirmation that the event is not cancelled, but postposed to a later date, tentatively, August 4th, 2012.

The line up listed on the Facebook page included top stars like Girls’ Generation, SHINee, 2PM, KARA, 4minute, B2ST, SISTAR, SECRET, and INFINITE.

Although specific details have yet to be confirmed, TS Entertainment has confirmed with allthatkpops, that SECRET will definitely be attending the concert, which is currently scheduled to take place on August 4th, 2012.

B.A.P to embark on their Asia showcase tour in July

The rising rookie, B.A.P, is gradually preparing for their first Asia showcase tour.

The group successfully concluded their encore fan signing event on June 10th at the iPark shopping mall in Yongsan, Seoul. Their agency, TS Entertainment, revealed, “Beginning in July, B.A.P will kick off their Asia showcase tour for the first time since debut five months ago.”

Together with Girls’ Generation, SHINee, and U-KISS, B.A.P is scheduled to stand on the ‘Dream Stage’ taking place in Macao at the Cotai Arena on July 2nd. Following Macao, the group will be heading to Malaysia, Thailand, and Taiwan for their solo showcase. The showcase in Malaysia and Thailand is scheduled to take place on July 6th and 8th, respectively, and a showcase in Taiwan has been confirmed for September 22.

Back in January, B.A.P completed a successful debut showcase at the Jangchung Gymnasium in Seoul with over 3,000 fans in attendance. The group then headed for Singapore for a joint fan meeting with labelmate Secret in March, causing fans worldwide to become more eager to catch a glimpse of the members.

Although B.A.P has only released two single albums, the group has a list of over 10 songs prepared for the showcase including Bang Yong Guk‘s solo track and “Never Give Up” from the sub-unit project group, BANG & ZELO.

“B.A.P has continuously been receiving numerous love calls ever since their debut from not only in Asia, but also from North America, South America, and in Europe,” the representative continued. “However, for the remaining of the year, we will be focusing on introducing B.A.P in Korea and in areas throughout Asia.”

B.A.P to tour the country for a fansigning event

With the release of their new mini album ‘Power‘, charismatic boy group B.A.P will be making their way around the country for a national fan signing tour.

Starting at the KT Olleh Square located in Gwanghwamun, Seoul on May 13th, the group will head south to Daegu and then Busan for their fan signing tour.

B.A.P has already experienced their first fan signing event at Time Square in Yeongdeungpo during their promotion for “Warrior“. However, this will mark their first national fan signing event in Korea.

TS Entertainment stated, “In order to meet fans across the country, B.A.P has agreed to the tour. Although it was not easy planning the schedule, we have decided on it in order to greet and communicate with fans.”

B.A.P has proven their rising popularity as their music video for “Power” has surpassed 2 million views on Youtube. The group has also approached nearly half a million followers when their Twitter accounts are combined on Twitter, along with being nicknamed as “icons among teenagers”. With news of their fan signing tour, fans across the country have been alerted and are highly anticipating B.A.P’s visit to their city.

B.A.P will once again be putting on another exciting performance of “Power” on this week’s ‘Music Bank‘, ‘Music Core‘, and ‘Inkigayo‘. Their fan signing tour is scheduled to take place in Gwanghwamun, Seoul on the 13th, Daegu on the 14th, and Busan on the 15th.
