Lexy announces comeback date for “NOLZA”

As mentioned previously, rapper Lexy is gearing up to make her long awaited comeback after four and a half years. Earlier today she finally confirmed her comeback date for September 5th!

Red Line Entertainment revealed on August 29th, “Lexy will make a comeback on September 5th with her title track, ‘NOLZA‘. She had originally planned to make a comeback on August 30th but it was postponed due to further deliberations on her music video. The current status of her music video is currently in deliberation and when it is complete, her comeback preparations will be finished. We ask for your support to Lexy and her long awaited comeback.”

Lexy’ will also have her first comeback performance through ‘M!Countdown‘ on September 6th!

Lexy releases comeback photos from the MV set of “NOLZA”

Rapper Lexy is gearing up for her first comeback to the stage in nearly four years and five months by putting some finishing touches on her album!

On August 20th, Red Line Entertainment unveiled new photos from the music video set of her newest track, “NOLZA“! Looking as confident and chic as she did five years ago, Lexy can be seen truly lending her soul to the music in each of the cuts.

“NOLZA” is described to be a trendy electronic dance track with a strong bass rhythm that paves the way for Lexy’s characteristic rap style. Vocalist JC Kim Ji Eun will be working with Lexy again through a special featuring on the song, their second time together since her previous song, “Up to the Sky“.

Produced by composer Kim Do Hyun of Lee Hyori‘s “10 Minutes“, the song was also polished by David Kim, who’s been working as a lyricist and rap teacher for several artists like Shinhwa.

Lexy’s comeback is slated for the end of this month, so stay tuned!

Lexy to make a comeback after 4 years!

It has been reported that female rapper and singer Lexy will be making a comeback after a 4 year hiatus!

With the upcoming album in August, this will be her first album since ‘Lexy‘, which was released in March of 2008.

For those unfamiliar with the artist, Lexy first made her debut in 2003 under YG Entertainment. She was the first female solo rapper to debut under the agency and also featured in many songs for the label’s other acts at the time like Jinusean, 1TYM, Se7en, and Wheesung.

She later parted ways with the agency on good terms in 2007, and was set to debut in Japan in 2008. However, with various problems arising, plans fell through. Although she had attempted at resuming her activities in Korea, she was unable to find an agency she felt was right for her, and thus led to her long hiatus.

She finally signed with Red Line Entertainment earlier this year and is getting ready to reveal the album she has been working on since last year in August.
