Lee Min Ki and KARA’s Seungyeon and Jiyoung pose like close siblings for ‘Unionbay’

KARA‘s Seungyeon and Jiyoung along with actor Lee Min Ki are receiving attention for a new photo that shows off their close bond, looking very much like siblings.

A photo from the fashion brand ‘Unionbay‘s fall 2012 advertisement was revealed featuring the three stars. The theme for the ad is ‘Play Different’ with the stars showing off their wit and style through their family portrait concept. Staff members were said to have been pleasantly surprised at how well they got along with their playful jokes and skinship during the photo shoot.

A ‘Unionbay’ representative stated, “KARA’s Seungyeon and Jiyoung along with actor Lee Min Ki were selected as the 2012 models for ‘Unionbay’ and recently completed our third ad campaign. They were seen showing their support for each other as the photo shoot progressed which brightened up the atmosphere on set. The day after the photo shoot was Seungyeon’s birthday, and Lee Min Ki didn’t forget and even prepared a surprise gift for her, touching the heart of Seungyeon as well as the staff members.”

Lee Min Ki responds to Suzy choosing him as her ideal type

Lee Min Ki could not hold in his happiness when he found out that miss A‘s Suzy, the “nation’s first love” icon, chose him as her ideal type.

On the August 25th broadcast of KBS2TV‘s ‘Entertainment Weekly,’ a scene from an advertisement featuring Lee Min Ki, KARA‘s Seungyeon, and Jiyoung, was revealed.

Suzy recently mentioned in an interview done with ‘Entertainment Weekly’ that her ideal type was Lee Min Ki. When Lee Min Ki was told about this on this week’s episode, he seemed a little embarrassed, but at the same time, could not hide his smile. He commented, “I am surprised. I caught that interview by chance and I am very thankful. If an opportunity arises it will be nice to film a miss A music video together.”

Suzy blushes after sending a cameo request to Lee Min Ki

On June 2nd, the stars of new drama ‘Big‘, Gong Yoo, Lee Min Jung, and Suzy, appeared for an interview on KBS2‘s ‘Entertainment Weekly‘.

On this episode, the three actors gathered together on the set of ‘Big’ to reveal their honest thoughts about each other. Lee Min Jung said her first impression of Suzy was that, “she really looked like a doll.”

When the reporter commented that Lee Min Jung also had doll-like features, she replied, “I’m a doll that’s a bit old now. Suzy is like a doll that’s just been born. Her skin is so fresh.”

When asked about the cameo role for ‘Big’, Lee Min Jung replied, “I saw that Lee Seung Gi sshi came out on ‘The Greatest Love‘. If only he came out on ours,” and Suzy said, “Lee Min Ki sunbae.”

Gong Yoo then commented, “I personally know Lee Min Ki. I’ll call him for you.”  Suzy started blushing immediately and Gong Yoo followed with, “I guess you really do like him,” making Suzy even more embarrassed, and elicited laughter on the set.
