Son Dam Bi comments on her hit song “Crazy”

Singer Son Dam Bi commented on her feelings behind her biggest hit song, “Crazy“.

On the August 27th broadcast of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Start Life Theater‘, Son Dam Bi shared, “It’s the song that revealed me to the world, and it’s also the song that gave birth to me. After the first performance, my name was one of the top most searched. It read ‘Son Dam Bi crazy’.”

Son Dam Bi’s “Crazy” was released in 2008. It quickly garnered interest from the public, and became the most-covered song on variety shows by other celebrities. Because of the amount of time it was played on variety shows, it was also designated as the “song banned from variety shows”.

Son Dam Bi commented, “I was so happy. It was the song that made my name known. Because of “Crazy”, the age of my fans broadened.”

T-ara’s Eunjung expresses her gratitude towards her mom on ‘Star Life Theater’

T-ara‘s Eunjung expressed her gratitude towards her mother.

On the July 12th broadcast of KBS 2TV ‘Star Life Theater‘, Eunjung returned back home after her music video shooting and spent quality time with her mother.

Eunjung’s mother, Lee Eun Joo, said, “I looked after Eunjung while living in Seoul together since she was in 6th grade.” She added, “Eunjung’s dad is back in the country side.”

While reminiscing on the past, she revealed, “I gave up my job and put in everything I had to helping Eunjung. Eunjung would do her homework and memorize her script while I would drive her around.”

She also surprised the audience when she revealed, “I even found sponsors for Eunjung.”

Eunjung explained, “My mom would go to accessory shops and clothing stores around the neighborhood and get me sponsored items.”

“My mother was very strict. She told me not to throw out my job if I wasn’t going to aim to become the best,” added Eunjung. “My mother was a well respected piano teacher but gave up her work to look after me.”

Eunjung expressed her appreciation for her mother when she concluded, “I don’t think I’ll ever be able to repay her for everything she’s done for me.”
