Shinhwa’s Andy tells Eric to work hard

On the April 21st broadcast of KBS‘s ‘Entertainment Weekly‘, the show featured a guerrilla date with Shinhwa, which recently made a comeback after 4 years, and marked history as one of the oldest, first generation idols who are still active.

During the guerrilla date, interviewer, Kim Saeng Min asked Andy to give some advice to his fellow member, Eric who is currently managing girl group, Stellar.  Andy, the maknae of the group, then made a daring move as he rested his hands on Eric’s shoulder and said, “Work hard.”  Andy’s confident and brave gesture had the entire staff cracking up as the he boldly showed his hyung who’s the better man.

Andy is probably feeling like he’s the boss in Shinhwa, mainly due to his success in developing his boy group, Teen Top into popular idols in the industry.  It looks like Eric could learn a thing or two from his hoobae as he is still working hard to develop his own popular girl group with Stellar.

In related news, Shinhwa’s unexpected appearance on the streets during the guerrilla date drew in massive numbers, which caused filming to stop temporarily; a proof of the group’s strong and lasting popularity even after 14 years since their debut.
