JYJ’s Jaejoong hangs out with ‘Time Slip Dr.Jin’ cast

JYJ‘s Jaejoong and actor Jin Yi Han met up at an arcade recently.

On August 22nd, Jin Yi Han tweeted, “Byong byong Joong. The best concentration! He is like this,” along with the picture above.

What stood out were Jaejoong’s absolute focus on the game as well as his colorful, unique sense of fashion.

Jaejoong later tweeted on August 23rd, while hanging out with fellow cast members from ‘Time Slip Dr.Jin‘, “Is it okay to [hang out like this] with all guys. Coffee and arcade in broad daylight…”

The four celebrities were captured wearing casual clothing while chicly looking out the window in the coffee shop.

In addition, Jaejoong also showed his close relationship with actor Jin Yi Han, F.CUZ‘s LEE-U, and Song Joong Ki. The four showed their friendship by wearing matching penguin backpacks and posing together.

EXID entertains listeners with their charms on ‘Shim Shim Tapa’

On the 24th, EXID, along with idol group F.CUZ, guested on Super Junior Shindong‘s radio show, ‘Shim Shim Tapa‘, where the girl group captured the listeners’ hearts with their charms.

EXID performed their mini-album’s title song “I Feel Good” and “Whoz That Girl part 2” live, grabbing the attention of DJ Shindong, F.CUZ, and the listeners with their powerful vocals. The members also shared their cute aegyo and individual talents on the show. Member Hani was voted the most popular by the F.CUZ members and flaunted her talent by introducing EXID’s new album ‘Hippity Hop‘ with a freestyle rap.

Moreover, the guests and staff of ‘Shim Shim Tapa’ celebrated EXID’s new member Hyerin‘s 23rd birthday with a birthday song and a surprise cake in the middle of the show. Hyerin thanked everybody by sharing, “I really want to thank the ‘Shim Shim Tapa’ family for their warm hearts. I was a little sad that I couldn’t spend my birthday with my family because of the recent comeback, but I spent a happy birthday thanks to the EXID members and many others. I will give back with better music and performances in the future.”

F.CUZ’s “Dreaming i” tops Taiwan’s ‘Omusic’ K-Pop/J-Pop weekly chart

F.CUZ‘s newest track “Dreaming i” has placed first on a Taiwanese music chart.

As of August 20th, the song is ranked at #1 on the KPOP/JPOP weekly chart for Taiwan’s representative music site, ‘Omusic‘. The boys’ Chinese market agency, expressed, “Korean and Japanese artists are showing fierce competition in the Taiwanese music market. For F.CUZ to have accomplished this record on the chart with just their music alone and without the promotion of any idol dramas is an exceptional case.”

The music video for the song is also ranked fifth on the popular music video chart of the same service. Out of all of the Korean artists ranked on there, F.CUZ actually comes in first.

This is just one of the many achievements the boys have to add to their list of international chart records, as their Chinese version of “Jiggy” had ranked #1, while their Japanese single, “Drawing Heart“, placed fifth on the Oricon daily chart.

F.CUZ is currently preparing for a new single release in Japan.

JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong unwinds with former F.CUZ member Lee-U

JYJ‘s Kim Jaejoong shared a photo he took with former F.CUZ member and son of Sul Woon Do, Lee-U (birthname, Lee Seunghyun).

The above photo were posted on Jaejoong’s personal Twitter page with the words, “Seunghyun, cute cute. Cheers with water, yes or no?”

Both Jaejoong and Lee-U are dressed extremely comfortably in the photo, and their close relationship drew smiles from netizens who made remarks such as, “Jaejoong is cute too!”

Meanwhile, after his leave from F.CUZ, Lee-U has taken up a role in musical, ‘Elisabeth‘.

Former F.CUZ member LeeU signs a contract with Brand New Stardom

It’s been revealed that former F.CUZ member Lee Seung Hyun (LeeU) has signed a contract with Block B‘s agency, Brand New Stardom.

On June 22nd, representatives of the agency revealed, “A couple of days ago, Lee Seung Hyun signed a contract with our agency. We haven’t decided whether he will be debuting as a solo or in a group. He’s currently rehearsing and working very hard.”

They continued, “Since it hasn’t been that long since he signed on, we’ll be deciding his future activities at a later date. He’s someone with a lot of musical talent so we’re confident that he’ll be able to stand before the public with a great image.”

Lee Seung Hyun first debuted in F.CUZ in 2010 under the stage name LeeU and earned much attention for being the son of legendary trot singer Sul Woon Do.  He departed from the group to pursue solo activities with a role in the musical ‘Elizabeth‘.

F.CUZ’s ‘Drawing Heart’ lands #2 spot on Tower Records’ weekly chart

F.CUZ‘s new single release, ‘Drawing Heart‘, has ranked in at the top 10 in album sales on Tower Records’ weekly chart and reached up to #10 on Oricon previously as well.

Released on June 13th, the album landed in second place, demonstrating the group’s potential for success in the Japanese market. They’ve been actively promoting in the country for a year now and have become recognizable faces with the local media, radio, and variety programs.

‘Drawing Heart’ marks their first Japanese release since their member change and is a ballad track composed by KEN For 2 SOUL Music Inc. JUNE. Leader Jinon participated in penning the rap lyrics.

On the 17th, the boys met with over 1,000 fans at their ‘For Century Ultimate Zest‘ showcase at the AX Hall in Shibuya and earned positive reviews for their ability to converse with fans without the need of an interpreter.

F.CUZ will be wrapping up the rest of their Japanese schedules to prepare for their Korean single comeback, which is slated for a release in late July.

Park Myung Soo faces an awkward situation with Taiwanese F.CUZ fans

Comedian Park Myung Soo’s genuine, sarcastic antics are generally well received by the audience from his home turf. Those familiar with the comedian’s style take his words with a grain of salt. However, he faced a tough crowd after what seems to have been a joke lost in translation.

The incident occurred on an episode of Park’s own TV program, ‘Park Myung Soo’s Moving TV’, that featured idol group F.CUZ as guests. The episode progressed as usual until the “live chat” portion of the show when the comedian and F.CUZ chatted in real-time with Taiwanese fans.

The fans were, as expected, delighted to see the F.CUZ members live on camera. After a few questions were exchanged, Park suddenly asked the audience: “Aside from F.CUZ, what other K-pop groups are currently popular in Taiwan?” to which the fans enthusiastically shouted, “F.CUZ!”

The atmosphere of the interview then turned awkward when the host jokingly commented, “It makes me a bit disappointed (to hear that).” After Park made the comment, the fans immediately grew quiet, displaying confused and aggravated faces.

A rather stunned Park then quickly attempted to alleviate the awkward atmosphere, saying, “Please laugh everyone!”

F.CUZ talks about their first ‘No.1′ comeback stage

F.CUZ recently met with reporters after completing their first comeback stage and talked about how they’re feeling having finally returned after a year and five month long hiatus.

The members stated, “New members Raehyun and Daegun were both really nervous so we were as a whole a lot more nervous than usual. We exchanged glances on stage and tried to comfort them. We realized so much was going on when we finally completed our stage.”

They continued, “Since it was also our first comeback in a while, we felt greedy to do good. That might’ve looked awkward to viewers… It’s true that we don’t feel satisfied with our first stage, but we’ll always be working hard to provide our fans with the best possible stages.”

Concluding the interview, the boys expressed, “We ask for much interest and love towards our two new members. Please look forward to a new five member F.CUZ.”
