Two Months’ Kim Yerim to complete high school in Korea

Two Months‘ member Kim Yerim (19) will be finishing up high school in Korea.

It was belated revealed that Yerim, who had studied abroad at Leonia High School in New Jersey, had transferred to Gyeonggi Bundang High School in March. Due to participating in ‘Superstar K3‘ last year, Kim Yerim was unable to complete her studies, and thus will be attending high school in Korea.

On the otherhand, Two Months’ Do Dae Yoon will be completing high school back in the States. The duo is also planning on releasing an album within the second half of the year.

Two Months member Do Dae Yoon apologizes to IU and Taeyang fans

Two Months’ member Do Dae Yoon apologized via Twitter for his comments pertaining to singer IU and Big Bang member Taeyang.

The Superstar K3 contestant tweeted on the 17th stating, “I’m not that good looking, what do you think of me, IU? Will you even see this?

The tweet was in response to IU’s previous statement on a talk show where she stated that she preferred men who are not good looking.

A few moments later, Dae Yoon tweeted yet again, this time commenting on IU’s confession about Taeyang being her ideal type: “I need to practice dance to become more like Youngbae (Taeyang) sunbae and turn IU’s attention towards me. I also need to work out. But I’m pretty sure I’m a little taller?

The two tweets have quickly become the subject of much controversy, catching the attention of both IU and Taeyang fans.

Dae Yoon has since closed his account, apologizing to the two fandoms stating, “I didn’t know things were going to get this big. I am sorry to both IU and Taeyang and their respective fans”.

The singer also previously wrote “Nuna, I’m a fan of yours” on figure skater Kim Yuna‘s Twitter, which also quickly became a hot topic of conversation online.

Netizens who saw read his tweets responded by saying, “Must really be an avid IU fan“, “No need to close your Twitter“, and more.

Two Months’ Dae Yoon wishes to perform a duet with IU

Do Dae Yoon of Two Months has revealed that he would like to perform a duet with fellow singer IU.

The singer was present at the ‘Superstar K3 Top 4 finalists’ press conference that took place at the CJ E&M Center in Seoul November 14th. When asked who he would like to record a duet song with other than Kim Yerim, he responded without hesitation, “IU.”

Do Dae Yoon and IU are the same age, and their singing styles are similar as well. Do Dae Yoon explained his choice by remarking, “She’s an extremely talented musician, considering she is only a high school student.” He went on to admit,  ”She plays the guitar really well, and I think she’s cute.”

On the other hand, Two Months’ female vocalist Kim Yerim chose GIGS‘ Jung Jae Il, and revealed that she was his #1 fan. “He’s in the army now, but I would love to meet him once he is discharged,” she said.

Only two contestants remain for the final round

On November 4th, fans of Mnet‘s ‘Superstar K3‘ witnessed an intense battle between Two MonthsOoh La La Session, and Busker Busker to earn one of the top two positions.

Two Months’ Kim Yerim and Do Dae Yoon performed Rumble Fish‘s “Its Gonna be a Good Day“, but they were criticized for being unoriginal and for failing to hit the proper notes. As such, the judges decided that they would not advance to the final round.

Member Kim Yerim teared up as she said, “I know we have a lot to learn still, but thank you for supporting us and letting us advance to the Top 3. Thank you to Dae Yoon who came all the way to Korea with me; I would also like to thank my family, the staff, and the judges as well.”

Do Dae Yoon added, “I’m upset that we were eliminated because my parents came to see us perform, but I’m happy that we were able to at least make it this far.”

With Two Months eliminated, things should heat up next week between Ooh La La Session and Busker Busker as they compete for the winner’s position.
