Could Lee Min Ho and Park Min Young get back together?

City Hunter‘ fans might possibly see the Lee Min Ho-Park Min Young couple together again as rumors are circulating that the two stars still meet frequently.

According to insiders, the two still talk on the phone together and send text messages often, in addition to meeting each other near their homes. The possibility of the two allegedly getting back together after their break up over two months ago is gaining much interest.

The two stars caught each others’ eye after filming for SBS‘ hit drama, ‘City Hunter’, in July, and broke off their relationship this past December. They released the news to the public belatedly in January, stating they are now just “encouraging colleagues” to one another.

However, rumors of an alleged reunion are now quietly arising. On April 3rd, one insider who is close to the two stated, “It was burdensome for the two to meet at places where there were a lot of fans or they would receive a lot of attention…Rather than a break-up [atmosphere], it’s a casual atmosphere where there’s no burden.

Their frequent meetings have not gone unknown to colleagues either. One star who acted in Park Min Young’s drama stated, “It seems the two have strong feelings for each other…Even though I don’t know the specific situation, I know they still have a good relationship.

One representative stated, “Around the time the break-up news came out around January, they argued, sulked, and hesitated to contact each other like normal couples.

Representatives from Park Min Young’s agency stated, “It is not true that she will get together with Lee Min Ho again. They are just friends who ask how the other is doing. From what we know, their inner circles are similar so they cannot end their contact suddenly. Their houses are close together so that seems to be the source of these rumors.

On December 13th, actor Lee Minho participated in the recording for Chinese variety show, ‘Happy Camp‘, drawing a huge league of fans that amazed his colleagues on set.

Normally, three different celebrities guest-star on the 60-minute episode, but for Lee Minho, he was given the full program plus an extra 30 minutes of TV time.

Since the program was filmed near the end of the year, Lee Minho prepared special gifts like lacquerware inlaid with mother-of-pearl from Korea, as well as a paper hanbok New Year’s card to present to the program MC. The actor also prepared traditional Korean wicker scoops for the audience, sharing a part of Korean culture with his Chinese fans.

The local Chinese media reported, “On a normal film day, the show invites 500 guests members free of charge to participate as members of the audience. But for the Lee Minho special, 1,500 fans appeared on site and even sat on the floor to catch a glimpse of Lee Minho.” Reportedly, several hundred more stood outside, and they complained that there weren’t enough tickets to go around. What’s more, illegal tickets were being sold anywhere from $280~800 U.S. dollars.

The ‘Happy Camp’ producer wrote via his Weibo, “I want to thank the staff, the crew, the audience members, and our special guest. I felt victorious today because of Lee Minho. I finally got to see the legendary Lee Minho, who is flawless at every angle. I thought there had been a horrible accident outside, but when I looked out the window, Lee Minho had arrived. Which other actor would cause the staff members here to squeal and make a ruckus?”

‘Happy Camp’ is a variety program that first aired in 1997, covering the culture and local issues of China.

The concept of Lee Min Ho’s fan meet was ‘fantastical musical’, and so the star delivered an entertaining, if not unique experience for his fans, who flew in from Korea, Singapore, the Philippines, and Japan.

The opening stage saw Lee Min Ho descend into the concert hall from wires attached to the ceiling, much like a scene straight out of his drama, ‘City Hunter‘. He then put on an impressive acting scene before going on to perform “My Everything” from the ‘Boys Over Flowers‘ special album.

For his next stage, Lee Min Ho dressed in a sleek black suit before performing the Beatles‘ “Yesterday” and “I Will” with a band. Fans even got to see him show off his dance skills with a Michael Jackson silhouette parody.

Through simple games, the star interacted with his fans, gifting them with personal presents he had brought from Korea. Perhaps the most touching moment was when he sat before a piano and played a few songs, before taking out letters he had written for his fans and reading them out loud.

The finale unveiled Lee Min Ho’s two new songs, which he had worked on with composerHwang Chan Hee. One of the songs was a medium-tempo rock track called “Say Yes“.

Representatives stated, “While spending meaningful time with his fans on the Asia tour, he is also discussing other dramas to take on since concluding ‘City Hunter’.”

What are the excuses celebrities make for plastic surgeries?

These days celebrities constantly face plastic surgery accusations or assumptions. The ways of covering up or making excuses for surgeries have become just as varied as the accusations themselves.  While some celebrities choose to remain silent on the issues, many, more than ever before, honestly admit them. Excuses that sound especially nonsensical, create laughter.
An online news outlet gathered information and put together a list of the ‘excuses’ celebrities make to cover up plastic surgeries.  Here are the few common and also some of the more unique excuses stars have previously made.

■It’s not from an operation, but a common cold…

Actress Chae Jung An was caught in the center of controversy when photos from her attendance at a producer’s wedding surfaced on October 6th. When netizens made speculations based on her face looking very bloated, Chae Jung An’s company denied the claims.  Instead, they stated her bloating was due to sickness from a cold.
Back when actress Jang Suh Hee was one of the MC’s for SBS‘s ‘Live TV Entertainment‘, she was also accused of plastic surgery due to a bloated face. Suh Gyung Suk who was her fellow MC told the audience she was bloated from the after effects of falling sick from a common cold.  This excuse led to harsh comments from netizens for the actress.  Several years later, she truthfully admitted that her injection did not turn out too well, when she appeared on the variety show.

■It is from an intense diet! Not plastic surgeries.

A ‘Superstar K‘ contestant and new Jewerly S member, Park Sae Mi faced three different accusations regarding plastic surgeries. As a result she stated, “I would rather really get one” as if she was fed up with such accusations. She revealed that her different image was due to losing ten kilograms and make-up.
Singer Navi was also once under suspicion for ‘full-body operation’. She quickly revealed her meal plans and explained her different appearance was due to dieting. Navi told the public that she once jokingly told her company to give her a ‘full-body operation’ since everyone thinks she already had the procedure.

■Not true.

Singer Jung Yup‘s past photos were once revealed on an online community website, and netizens immediately became suspicious of plastic surgery operations. His company quickly denied the claims stating, “Jung Yup himself knows about the past photos, but he does not care. It’s not true.
Actor Lee Min Ho as well had to face such accusations due to a photo of himself taken with a plastic surgeon back in 2007. However his company stated, “We are speechless. The photo was only taken because they were both acquainted with each other. That is not true.”
