Singer Lee Juk to sing at actress Jun Ji Hyun’s wedding

It’s been revealed that singer Lee Juk will perform his song “I’m So Fortunate” at actress Jun Ji Hyun‘s wedding.

Lee Juk’s company informed OSEN on April 12th, “It looks like Lee Juk will sing “I’m So Fortunate” at Jun Ji Hyun’s wedding. He is planning on singing just this one song.”

“I’m So Fortunate” is considered one of the nation’s best love songs and is often performed at weddings.

Around April 10th, Jun Ji Hyun’s representatives put in a request for Lee Juk to sing at the wedding as the actress has always been a huge fan. Though the two were not previously acquainted, Lee Juk agreed without any hesitation.

Jun Ji Hyun will walk down the aisle with her groom Choi Jun Hyuk on April 13th at the Shilla Hotel in Seoul where the two plan to spend their first night as a married couple as well. They are pushing back their honeymoon due to Jun Ji Hyun’s filming schedule for her new movie, ‘Berlin‘. The couple will begin their newly married life at a villa in Kangnam until the end of the month, when Jun Ji Hyun will begin filming ‘Berlin’.

Jun Ji Hyun takes part in a wedding dress photo shoot for ‘Elle’ Magazine

Actress Jun Ji Hyun will soon be walking down the aisle, but ahead of her wedding, she took part in a special photo shoot.

The actress who will be tying the knot later today at the Shilla Hotel in Seoul revealed the process of planning for her big day as well as her wedding dress photo shoot, through the May publication of ‘Elle‘ magazine.

During her interview, Jun Ji Hyun reportedly could not stop gushing about her fiance, revealing her genuine love for him.

According to a representative, Jun Ji Hyun’s grandmother-in-law, hanbok designer Lee Young Hee, and fashion designer mother-in-law Lee Jung Woo had suggested a special wedding dress photo shoot.

The multiple dresses were flown in from London, Paris, New York, and more, and a Bourbon tiara provided by French jeweler and watch designer Chaumet will also be revealed in the photos.

Jun Ji Hyun’s wedding dress photos as well as her special wedding story will be unveiled in the May publication of Elle Magazine which hits stands April 20th!

Jang Hyuk leaves congratulatory message for friend and bride-to-be Jun Ji Hyun

Actor Jang Hyuk had a heartwarming congratulatory message for friend and bride-to-be Jun Ji Hyun.

During an interview with TV Chosun‘s ‘Entertainment in TV‘, Jang Hyuk detailed the people that he knew in the entertainment field. He revealed he became close to stars like Han Suk Gyu, Kim Suro, Sung Dong Il, Lee Da Hae, Jun Ji Hyun, and Gong Hyo Jin through film projects.

Jang Hyuk described Jun Ji Hyun as, “a star with a young girl’s heart, who gets really happy over the smallest things.” He went on, “I hope she lives happily. I hope she’s happy for a very long time with a good person besides her.”

Apparently, the two stars have been friends since his trainee days at Sidus. They worked together for the 2004 film ‘Let Me Introduce You to My Girlfriend‘.

Jun Ji Hyun’s agency addresses pregnancy + retirement rumors with new wedding date

Not too long ago, actress Jun Ji Hyun‘s agency released an official statement confirming her marriage rumors to be true, but the actress has suddenly changed the date of her wedding.

J & Co. Entertainment announced through a press release on March 9th, “Due to her filming schedule for the movie ‘Berlin‘, Jun Ji Hyun has now moved up her wedding date from June 2nd to April 13th.”

“She initially wanted to have the wedding in June once her ‘Berlin’ shoot came to an end. But because of a few changes in the filming schedule and her desire to give the movie all of her focus and attention during the shoot, she has worked it out with the film company to be able to move up her wedding to mid-April,” they continued.

Jun Ji Hyun has changed her wedding date not even ten days after initially announcing her wedding plans. According to her agency, the change was due to the actress wanting to focus solely on her new project.

During a phone interview with MyDaily, J & Co. Entertainment stated, “The change in date only proves that work is a priority for her.”

By changing her wedding date, Jun Ji Hyun wanted to prove that her job as an actress was more important to her than her personal life. This also suggested that Jun Ji Hyun would continue to be active in the industry after tying the knot.

Her sudden wedding announcements left the public speculating that the actress could be pregnant (shotgun wedding). If indeed she is, this poses a problem for her new movie. It will be extremely difficult for the actress to be active until after the first trimester of her pregnancy is over, and if she is currently pregnant, that means she will most likely be unable to film ‘Berlin’.

But as the actress moved up her wedding date, Jun Ji Hyun showed an even stronger determination to complete the project, suggesting that there is no need to be concerned for her physical well-being during the shoot.

The newest report by Jun Ji Hyun’s agency attempted to firmly clear up the recent pregnancy and retirement speculations that surrounded the actress.

It’s official, Jun Ji Hyun is getting married this June

After denying marriage rumors last month, actress Jun Ji Hyun‘s agency announced her wedding plans through an official press release.

J & Co. Entertainment announced on March 2nd, “It is true that Jun Ji Hyun will be holding her wedding with Choi Jun Hyuk at the Shilla Hotel in Seoul on June 2nd.”

“We hope that you will congratulate Jun Ji Hyun who will now be living her new life as the wife of her new husband. Please bless their days ahead,” they continued. “We are always grateful for the unending love and support you have shown for Jun Ji Hyun all these years.”

“We will do our best so that she will continue to work hard and more sincerely, never losing her sense of responsibility to become a great actress,” they added.

Jun Ji Hyun’s husband-to-be graduated from Korea University and also went overseas to study abroad in the States. He is currently a banker at Bank of America.

He is also the grandson of hanbok designer Lee Young Hee, and the second son of designer Lee Jung Woo.

The couple are of the same age, and they began dating last year. Their relationship was made public towards the end of 2011, causing quite a stir amongst the public.

Jun Ji Hyun made her debut into the entertainment scene in 1997 as a model, and has starred in hit movies such as ‘My Sassy Girl‘, and ‘Introducing My Girlfriend‘.

She recently completed filming ‘Thieves‘ with director Choi Donghoon, and will begin filming ‘Berlin‘ with director Ryu Seung Wan.

UPDATE: Another report has just been released by Star News, stating that the marriage is not confirmed. CEO of Jun Ji Hyun’s agency, Im Yun Jung stated to Star News, “When they revealed the relationship, they stated there were no thoughts of marriage yet. It is still the same as of now. Marriage is a very important and precious thing, there is no reason to hide it.”

They continued, “We ask that you refrain from releasing exaggerated or distorted stories regarding her significant other, as he is not a celebrity. Please support their relationship.”

Representatives of Lee Young Hee added, “Jun Ji Hyun and Choi have known each other since they were little and remained friends since then. It is true that they are now dating.”

Rumors surface that Jun Ji Hyun is dating a non-celebrity

Recently, rumors of actress Jun Ji Hyun dating a banker of the surname ‘Choi’ have been circulating online. Her company, J&Co. has given their response, and asked fans to wait for an official statement.

On December 29th, J&CO.’s CEO Im Yeon Jung revealed, “We’re currently checking on the validity of these rumors, and will have an official statement within the morning. … I personally have never heard of such a story from her.”

CEO Im and Jun Ji Hyun have known each other since their days in Sidus HQ before setting up their own company in October of 2010.

According to these rumors, ‘Choi’ was born in 1981 and is the grandson of hanbok designer Lee Young Hee. According to insiders, his brother used to be an idol group member. Choi and Jun Ji Hyun have supposedly already introduced each other to their parents and are dating with the intention of marriage later down the path.

Jun Ji Hyun cast in upcoming crime film, ‘Berlin’

Actress Jun Ji Hyun has confirmed her casting for director Ryu Seung Wan‘s $10 million USD film, ‘Berlin‘.

On December 12th, representatives of CJ Entertainment (the company in charge of the movie’s investments and distribution) commented, “We were still in discussion when producers contacted us saying that Jun Ji Hyun’s casting has been confirmed.”

The film is a highly anticipated one, as it will succeed his previous crime film, ‘Unfair Dealings‘. ‘Berlin’ will use Berlin as its backdrop with a plot primarily centered around a North Korean gang member, played by actor Ha Jung Woo, who successfully manages to infiltrate into a South Korean gang. Issues escalate when he is abandoned by North Korea and is forced to betray his gang. Jun Ji Hyun will play the role of his wife.

100% of the filming will take place in Germany, which will begin early next year.

Others cast include Han Suk Gyu and Ryu Seung Bum, who play a South Korean gang leader and a murderer of North Korean gangs respectively.

Jang Hyuk used to make g.o.d and Jun Ji Hyun… hot dogs?

Actor Jang Hyuk appeared on the show ‘Healing Camp’ on SBS on October 10th and personally made hot dogs for the MCs.

While making hot dogs, Jang Hyuk stated, “Back in my unknown, newbie days, I heavily depended on hot dogs. I needed a role in the company. Someone was already in charge of cleaning and there needed someone for cooking, so I took the role. I had never made soups or any sort, so thinking that hot dogs would do it, I made them after several failures.”

“My existence as a hot dog maker was bigger than as an actor,” he continued, “I made about 20 every day. Even g.o.d members and Jun Ji Hyun have had them.”

When MC Lee Kyung Kyoo answered in response, “Your hot dogs led people to success,” Jang Hyuk humorously said to Kim Jae Dong, “Eat three, you will succeed too.”

Jang Hyuk is currently playing a main character in the SBS drama, ‘A Tree of Deep Roots’.
