Why Were SNSD′s Text Votes for Hyoyeon on ‘Dancing With the Stars 2’ Invalidated?

Although Hyoyeon has been receiving the full support of the SNSD members, their votes for Hyoyeon on her dance competition show were revealed to have been unfortunately invalidated.

A source from MBC’s Dancing With the Stars 2 revealed the surprising news on July 19 that the previous text message votes from the SNSD members for Hyoyeon, who is in the running as a finalist for the show, were all invalidated.

As per the show’s official rules, the text messages votes must only contain the name of the competitor and his or her entry number.

However, the SNSD members included in their votes emoticons such as hearts and messages such as ‘Hyoyeon is 1st.”




Despite the invalidation, Hyoyeon expressed her gratitude towards her members for the support and said, “I hope next time you will vote and only write ‘Hyoyeon’.

Hyoyeon will battle it out on the dance floor against Choi Yeo Jin to determine who is this season’s winner on July 20.
