Wonder Girls starts ‘Wonder World Tour 2012′ in Singapore

Wonder Girls visited Singapore for the first time for the start of their ‘Wonder World Tour 2012‘ with 4,000 fans who showed up to see the the spectacular performances by Wonder Girls.

The girls performed their hit tracks such as “Tell Me“, “So Hot“, “Nobody“, “Be My Baby“, and “Like Money (feat. Akon)” which is gaining popularity in United States.

Before the concert started over 40 media outlets and more than 100 reporters attended the press conference once again proving the hot popularity the Wonder Girls has as a Hallyu idol group.

‘Wonder World Tour in Singapore 2012‘ officially started with an opening performance by label mate juniors, JJ Project.

After JJ Project’s astonishing performance Wonder Girls greeted the 4,000 fans that filled the auditorium and performed an energetic and lively concert.

JYP Entertainment stated “Thank you to everyone who attended the first ’Wonder World Tour 2012′, with the remaning tour ahead we look forward to a successful tour and your love and support.”

Meanwhile, the Wonder Girls are headed to Malaysia (October 13), Indonesia (November 3), Thailand, and Vietnam in mid November in continuation of  ’Wonder World Tour 2012‘.

JJ Project to open for upcoming Wonder Girls’ Asia Tour concert in Singapore

JYP Entertainment has told allthatkpops that hot rookie duo JJ Project will be performing the opening stage at the Wonder Girls‘ first Asia tour concert in Singapore on September 8th KST.

After debuting with their title song “Bounce” this past May, JJ Project has been receiving much love from K-pop fans for their excellent dancing skills, cute visuals, and strong vocals. JJ Project’s members JB and Jr. have been a hot issue even before their debut for their roles in the hit drama ‘Dream High 2‘. In addition, their title song “Bounce” received over one million views in just two days after its release on YouTube.

JYP Entertainment stated, “JJ Project will be performing the opening stage for their sunbae group Wonder Girls’ first Asia tour. Please look forward to their exciting and energetic activities in the future as well.”

Wonder Girls’ ‘Wonder World Tour 2012‘, starting with Singapore in September, will be touring around Malaysia in October as well as Indonesia, China, and Vietnam in November. The Wonder Girls have held many performances in Asia and the US before, but this will be the group’s first time having a solo tour in Asia.

It’s been announced that the Wonder Girls will be holding a concert in Jakarta, Indonesia for their global concert, ‘Wonder World Tour 2012‘!

The concert, presented by Marygops Studios, Entourage Entertainment, and Asia Top Entertainment, will be held on November 3rd of this year at the Tennis Indoor Senayan in Jakarta.
