Will T-ara promote as units?





T-ara, who have recently become an 8 member group shared their thoughts regarding promoting as units.


During the press conference for their fanclub inauguration ceremony on July 14th the members said, “A lot of people ask us about whether or not T-ara will form unit groups and promote.  Currently there are no plans for that.”


A lot of girl group members have been doing some solo work or breaking into units and T-ara’s member Soyeon said, “We know that a lot of our peers in the girl groups are going solo or doing some unit work, but T-ara is too busy promoting all together,” with a smile.


She continued, “That is why we do not have any plans to promote as a unit.  As we are now an 8 member group and have a fresh new concept, we need to adapt to that and plan to show what we can do together.


On this day, T-ara, who have already debuted three years ago, had their inauguration ceremony for their fanclub ‘QUEEN’S‘ and greeted their fans.


T-ara released a new mini album on July 3rd after nine months titled ‘Day by Day‘ and showed that they grew and matured a bit and with their performances. They are once again receiving a lot of attention from their fans.

T-ara to personally refund fans who plan on attending the inauguration ceremony of their fan club





T-ara will personally return roughly $25,000 to their fan club, QUEEN’S, who paid to participate in their inauguration ceremony.


On July 14th, T-ara will have an inauguration ceremony with their fan club QUEEN’S at Kyunghee University’s Peace Hall.  Initially, people were charge approximately $8.70 to attend the inauguration ceremony but on June 28th, T-ara’s agency Core Contents Entertainment decided to refund everyone their money.


A representative said, “This is the first meeting that fans will have with T-ara in three years and we did not want to burden the fans, so all seven members of T-ara decided to use their own money to refund their fans.


T-ara members stated, “We hope that on this day, our fans will have a lot of fun and see, hear, and find out everything they want to know about us.


On the official T-ara fan cafe, it says that those who want to attend the inauguration ceremony will be served on a first come first serve basis and you can also find information on how to receive your refund.

Number of international applicants for T-ara’s fanclub inauguration ceremony top 70,000





 


As popular group T-ara prepares to launch their official fanclub, it seems that anticipation is running high not just among their Korean fans, but amongst their international fans as well.


In April, T-ara announced on their official fan site that they would hold an inauguration ceremony to celebrate the establishment of their fanclub, QUEEN’S. The announcement was met with heated interest as fans around their world flooded the site with requests to participate in the ceremony. Currently, the number of international fans who have applied to take part in the ceremony have topped 70,000.


In response to the explosive interest in the event, the T-ara members released a statement saying, “To thank the explosive response from our fans, we have personally created the official banner for the inauguration ceremony. In order to put on the best performance at the inauguration, we are taking time to practice even in the midst of our busy schedules.


The inauguration ceremony for QUEEN’S is set to be held on July 14 in Seoul. It has been revealed that only 3,500 fans will be invited to the event, resulting in the highly competitive rush for spots.


In related news, T-ara is currently preparing for a Japanese concert scheduled for June, as well as a new album tentatively scheduled for a summer release.
