Son Ye Jin turns down casting offer for ‘I Miss You’

It was reported earlier that actress Son Ye Jin was being considered for one of the lead roles in MBC’s new drama ‘I Miss You‘.

However, it seems the drama will have to look elsewhere for her agency revealed on the 20th that the actress will be busy with filming her movie until mid September, and thus will not be able to handle a drama as well.

The role that Son Ye Jin was offered was the lead role of Lee Soo Yeon, a fashion designer who falls in love with a man named Han Jung Woo.

As mentioned previoulsy, the male lead of Han Jung Woo was offered to JYJ‘s Yoochun, and he has yet to confirm whether he will be accepting the offer or not.

‘I Miss You’ will air its first episode in October after the conclusion of ‘Arang and the Magistrate‘.

JYJ’s Yoochun and Son Ye Jin offered leading roles in upcoming drama ‘I Miss You’

JYJ‘s Yoochun and actress Son Ye Jin have been revealed to be in discussion for the leading roles in MBC‘s new drama, ‘I Miss You‘.

On August 20th, C-JeS Entertainment stated, “We have received a casting offer from MBC’s ‘I Miss You’, but we are still discussing whether or not Yoochun will take the role.”

Son Ye Jin’s agency showed a similar response, with representatives stating, “We have yet to make a decision on the offer.”

‘I Miss You’ is described to be a traditional melo-drama about a man and a woman who both try to hide the pain of the memories of their first love. Produced by PD Lee Jae Dong and writer Moon Hee Jung, the drama will hit the smallscreen this October.

Yoo Jae Suk shows his support for Noel

“The nation’s MC” Yoo Jae Suk showed his support for ballad group Noel.

On April 24th, a video of Yoo Jae Suk leaving a message for the group was posted onto several online community boards with the title, “Video of Yoo Jae Suk supporting Noel”. The filming seemed to have taken place before the recording of the April 23rd episode of MBC‘s ‘Come to Play‘.

The host introduces the four members saying, “Hello, this is Yoo Jae Suk. The talented members of Noel have finally returned with their new single. We have waited for so long since their previous hit ‘I Miss You‘. Please show lots of love to their new song ‘Leaving’.”

Yoo Jae Suk has once again showed his warmth to his juniors as he was seen patting their backs as he spoke. Netizens responded to the video commenting, “As expected from Yoo Jae Suk, he’s the best,” “Yoo Jae Suk is so kind,” and “He’s such a good sunbae.”

Noel released their new single album titled ‘Leaving‘ on April 19th, and are actively promoting not only on music shows but on variety programs as well.
