Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung did not hesitate to accept MC job for SBS’s ‘One Night of TV Entertainment’

YB‘s Yoon Do Hyun and Girls’ Generation‘s Sooyoung have been selected as the newest MCs for SBS entertainment news program, ‘One Night of TV Entertainment.”

The two recently sat down for an interview with the staff members at SBS and shared their thoughts on leading the program.

“Ever since I was young, I watched ‘One Night of TV Entertainment’ and thought that I would love to one day host the program,” Sooyoung said. “When I first received the offer, I didn’t hesitate a single second before accepting.”

Yoon Do Hyun on the other hand gave it some more thought. “I wondered if this would be a proper place for me,” he said. “I then became determined to make it my place.”

“I would like to be the first to deliver news regarding Girls’ Generation’s World Tour, as well as news about world stars such as Brad Pitt and Beyonce,” Sooyoung said.

Yoon Do Hyun then added, “I would also like to deliver news of YB’s World Tour. I hope to one day break the news that we will be putting on a concert for world peace at Panmumjeom with rock band U2.”

Sooyoung also revealed that fellow group member Sunny was most jealous when she told them she would be working side by side with Yoon Do Hyun, and the rocker could not hide his joy as he responded, “I think I’ve already accomplished everything I needed to.”

CNBLUE’s Jung Yonghwa is a playboy on ‘Star King’?

On the April 14th broadcast of SBS‘s ‘Star King‘, 13 natural beauties who claimed they did not undergo any plastic surgery guested on the show and participated in a special contest.

During the broadcast, the show featured a small parody corner of SBS’s ‘Match‘ which is currently one of Korea’s most popular adult reality TV shows that features a group of men and women seducing each other and coupling up.  Go Young Wook, B1A4‘s Baro, and CNBLUE‘s Jung Yonghwa participated in this corner and showed a variety of acts to win the hearts of two beauties, Lee Yoo Jin and Choi Ye Jin.

First, Baro showcased his impressive beatboxing.  Unfortunately for him, the spotlight was taken from him, when Yonghwa sang a beautiful song that matched Baro’s beats.  When the time came to choose the winner, both ladies stood in line behind Yonghwa, showing their interest in the idol.  Unable to hide his excitement, Yonghwa wrapped his arms around their shoulders and did a small ceremony to commemorate his win.

Furthermore, a young girl who earned the nickname, ‘Little Kim Tae Hee’ for her natural beauty went up to Yonghwa during the show and gave a small smooch on the idol’s cheek.  He was pleasantly surprised and expressed, “Why is my heart fluttering?” which cracked up many of the show members.

Yonghwa’s popularity among the ladies didn’t stop here, however.  Another guest named Lee Eun Bin admitted that her ideal type is Yonghwa and serenaded him with Girls’ Generation‘s “Hoot“.  Yonghwa didn’t know what to do as he became instantly shy and honestly revealed, “I’m falling for her charms.”

Maybee’s contract with IS Entertainment expires + Dalmatian’s comeback in May

It is being reported that singer Maybee‘s contract with music label, IS Entertainment, has expired.

On April 4th, a representative of the singer revealed, “MayBee’s exclusive contract with IS Entertainment has ended.  MayBee has decided to continue her activities without an agency for the moment.  If she gets an offer from a good label, she will consider establishing a new contract to sign.”

IS Entertainment who has ended contracts with MayBee and SG Wannabe is planning to stick with their existing artists and give them full support, rather than scouting new artists under their label.

MayBee, who debuted as a signer back in 2006, also started her acting career by appearing in the drama, ‘Pink Lipstick‘ back in 2010.  She also starred in ‘Noriko Goes to Seoul‘ and will be appearing in a new movie called, ‘Statute of Limitations‘ in April.

Meanwhile, IS Entertainment is preparing for Dalmatian‘s comeback which will be held in May.  Actress Seo Hye Rim, who is also under IS Entertainment, is currently starring as Song Eun Joo in KBS’s ‘Bok-hee‘.
