UV tours as street musicians on streets, parks and garages in Korea

Parody music duo UV released the video collection of the street concerts they recently held throughout Seoul and Hawaii.

The members, comedian Yoo Sae Yoon and Muse, performed for their fans, who are reported to have been asking for a solo concert from UV for a while, with an acoustic guitar, melodion, and percussion instrument. UV Land, composed of Go Tae Young on guitar, Yoo Seung Bum, Go Shin Jae on bass, Song Sung Kyung on keyboard, Jang Dong Yoon on drums, and JD on chorus, joined the duo for the concerts.

The band held their first performance on the streets of Seoul, and then moved onto a car garage for a jazz festival in Jarasum, Bugok Hawaii (a bathing result in Ulsan), a rest area in Daegu, and then finally in a park back where they started in Seoul.

UV collected the voluntary “admission charge” for the concerts in a guitar case. The video of their concert travels can be seen on Cyworld’s Music Special site.

[MV] UV - Who Am I

UV charms with Beatles-inspired “Who Am I” MV

If you’re looking for a break from synthesized dance genre of Korean music, you might enjoy this new release: UV is back with a quirky new music video!

UV, which is a two-man project band consisting of comedian Yoo Se Yoon and Muzi of High Syde, previously made headlines with their EP “Do You Want To Be Cool” in April last year. The duo has managed to distinguish itself on the music scene with its top-notch music quality that’s matched with quirky lyrics.

With a retro concept, the music video draws inspiration from the London Boys and makes references to the legendary Beatles, with a replication a famous Rolling Stones cover of John Lennon & Yoko Ono at 1:43 and a nod to “Hey Jude” at 3:38. The MV also features Yoo Heeyeol and Jung Jaehyung. Check it out!

Fans are already praising UV for delivering yet another great track. “These Beatles references are classic and the best,” one expressed. Another commented, “A comedian makes better music than many Korean singers.”
