‘Opera Star 2012′ reveals official cuts of 8Eight’s Joo Hee, Son Ho Young, and more

tvN‘s ‘Opera Star 2012‘ has revealed the official profile cuts of singers Park Ji Yoon, Park Ki Young, Son Ho Young, and 8Eight‘s Joo Hee.

A representative from the crew of ‘Opera Star 2012′ commented, “The singers on [the show] will not only compete with opera arias, but we also plan for them to engage in a competition of hot dresses. The outfits, props, and stage settings for the best performances are being prepared.”

‘Opera Star 2012′ will broadcast its first episode on February 10th at 9 p.m. KST. Park Ji Yoon, Park Ki Young, Son Ho Young, and Joo Hee will be joined by other contestants like Kim Jong Suh, Dana, and former V.O.S. member Park Ji Hun.

Lee Hyun reassures fans about his neck injury

Recently, 8eight‘s Lee Hyun updated worried fans about the status of his sprained neck.

On October 31st, Lee Hyun tweeted, ”I’m okay. I got the neck brace removed yesterday~ Thank you for worrying about me.”

According to a representative, Lee Hyun had sprained his neck during a recent broadcast recording. Though it wasn’t a big injury, he wore a brace to prevent damage to his neck. He received acupuncture on his neck, and he was able to remove his brace after he had fully healed.

On November 2nd, Lee Hyun tweeted, ”Lately, my daily routine has been like a hospital tour. I have to go to the dermatologist, and I also have to go to a general clinic since I’ve caught a cold. I have to go to the hospital because of my neck injury, and to the dentist as well.. Darn.. I seem to be getting sick quite frequently… Everyone, please don’t get sick. I’ll be sick on your behalf.”

Meanwhile, Lee Hyun has been preparing for his next solo album. He is currently in the process of picking songs and plans to comeback before the end of the year.

KBS‘s ‘Immortal Song 2‘ returned for another week of stunning performances put on by some of the best vocalists in the industry.

This week, the show followed up with Part 2 of its ’7080 Big Match’ special, where a total of 14 vocalists came together to perform renditions of the biggest hits from the 70′s and 80′s. The contestants were divided into two rounds, with the first round airing last week.

Last week, viewers got to see performances from Norazo‘s Lee Hyuk, Lee Jung, Lee Ki Chan, Lim Jeong Hee, Ali, Lee Haeri, Jung Hee Young.

This week, audiences gathered to experience performances from Seo In Young, Hong Kyung Min, Go Yoo Jin, Shin Yong Jae, SG Wannabe‘s Lee Suk Hoon, Im Tae Kyung, and Joo Hee.

In a pre-survey asking contestants to choose someone they were most cautious of, the singers all chose 4MEN‘s Shin Yong Jae and Ali. Although Shin Yong Jae is the maknae of the pack (born in 1989), he’s earned the respect of senior artists for his impressive vocal talent.
