IU Has a Case of the Monday Blues After 3-Day Vacation

IU may be one of K-Pop’s biggest idols, but she too suffers from the occasional case of the ‘Monday Blues’ just like the rest of us.

IU previously revealed through her Twitter on July 20 that she had received a three-day break.

Wasting no time, IU spent a busy weekend watching 2AM Lee Changmin’s musical La Cage Aux Folles as well as attending MBLAQ’s Seoul concert.

But as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end, and IU soon found her vacation coming to a close with the passing of each hour on Sunday evening.

Expressing the same sentiments of any student or working professional in the final hours of his or her weekend on a Sunday evening, IU tweeted on July 22, “I just want to play for one more day!!! No no no don’t go ㅜㅜ,” and later “Oh my gosh, Gag Concert has ended!!!!! Ack!”





Gag Concert airs new episodes late on Sunday evenings in Korea, which usually makes it the last television program one watches before heading to bed and preparing for Monday.
