IU Can Twist Her Head Around 180 Degrees?

An amusing photo of IU in a contortion-like pose has become a hit among Korean netizens.

A user recently uploaded a screen capture of IU on an online community board recently with the title, ‘Girl whose head has twisted around’ which became a viral hit.

Included was a screen capture of IU and Kara’s Nicole and Goo Hara from a past episode of SBS’ Inkigayo on which IU used to be one of the MCs.

In the capture, IU was seen standing with her hands on her hips, microphone in one hand and leaning forward while wearing a black dress and top hat.

However, the combination of IU’s hands, the angle of her neck, and her dress created a humorous optical illusion as though IU had magically twisted her head around 180 degrees from her body.

The amusing picture was made all the more funnier at the sight of Kara’s Goo Hara and Nicole heartedly laughing on at IU’s pose.




Netizens commented, “It looks so real”, “This is daebak” and “I can’t stop laughing.”

IU stepped down as MC of Inkigayo on May 27.
