4Men’s Shin Yong Jae Wrote a Duet for SNSD′s Taeyeon

4Men’s Shin Yong Jae has expressed his desire to sing with SNSD’s Taeyeon one day.

In the July 24 episode of KBS’ Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook Shin Yong Jae appeared as a performer and guest.

During the interview time, Shin Yong Jae revealed he was a fan of Taeyeon and made a surprising confession he had already written a duet.

“I thought to myself, ‘If I had a duet with Taeyeon, what would it sound like?’ and the feeling of ‘Today being the first day’ came to mind which made me compose the song ‘The First Day’,” he shared.





Shin Yong Jae then proceeded to sing his self-composed song First Day to the surprise of the audience and MC Yoo Hee Yeol.

The singer then joked, “I made the duet song in the feeling of the Disney movie Beauty and the Beast,” to the laughter of the audience.

In the same episode, Shin Yong Jae performed off of his first solo album 24 which he self-produced. The album will drop on July 27 on the same day his appearance on the show will air.
