Actor Oh Ji Ho is disappointed his kiss scene with Girls’ Generation’s Soooyoung was cut on ‘Third Hospital’

Actor Oh Ji Ho expressed disappointment that his kiss scene with Girls’ Generation‘s Sooyoung was cut.

At the press conference for tvN‘s ‘Third Hospital‘ on August 29 KST, Oh Ji Ho commented, “There were two kiss scenes with Sooyoung in the drama, but in the end, we couldn’t do them. I’m not sure why we couldn’t have the kiss scenes. I think it might be related to the fact that a lot of Sooyoung’s fans would be worried.”

In the drama, Sooyoung plays the part of ‘Lee Eujin’, who’s in love with childhood friend and violaist ‘Kim Seung Hyun’ (Oh Ji Ho). Unfortunately, Kim Seung Hyun does not feel the same.

Oh Ji Ho stated, “It’s in the screenplay so [it wasn't my decision]. If it was reality, I feel like I would’ve felt really sorry [about it].” He also revealed, “Sooyoung’s older sister appears in a scene in ‘Third Hospital’. Whether it’s because I’m familiar with Sooyoung’s sister, it felt really different acting [together].”

‘Third Hospital’ will air its first episode on September 5 KST.

The new period comedy film ‘Gone With the Wind‘ starring Cha Tae Hyun has proved to be a success at the box office, breaking 1 million ticket sales in just five days.

Cha Tae Hyun, in his first period piece, proved his title as the ‘prince of comedy’ with a plot that revolves around breaking into the Chosun Empire’s vaults and stealing all of the ice – at the time, worth more than gold. With three years’ worth of development under its belt, the film also stars Oh Ji Ho and Min Hyo Rin.

With the runaway hit ‘Thieves‘ approaching 10 million in ticket sales, ‘Gone With the Wind’ is proving to be a long-term batter in the shadows.

4minute’s Jihyun to make a special appearance on ‘Third Hospital’

4minute‘s Jihyun will be making a special appearance on tvN‘s upcoming medical drama, ‘Third Hospital‘.

During the recent filming of the drama, the singer, who will be playing herself, brought out her acting abilities to realistically portray the scene she was in. In the drama, Jihyun visits the hospital after her muscles go into shock due to falling from the stage. Despite the blazing hot weather, Jihyun managed to maintain a smile on her face and helped to create a lively and energetic atmosphere on set while working alongside actor Oh Ji Ho.

The singer had a performance lined up that day, but showed her dedication by making the time to come and shoot her scene. She earned the praise of the staff members after displaying her ability to focus during the time she was on set.

‘Third Hospital’ tells the story of a hospital that practices both western and eastern medicine, and is also Girls’ Generation Sooyoung‘s first drama as one of the lead cast members.

The first episode airs September 5th.

Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung reveals that ‘aegyo’ acting is harder than playing the viola

Girls’ Generation‘s Sooyoung revealed her feelings on being cast in her new drama.

The singer was present when the set of her tvN drama ‘Third Hospital‘ was publicly revealed on July 31st, and it was here that she said, “This is the first time I am standing in front of the camera as an actress since I was in the movie ‘Happily Ever After‘. I remember my first film shoot, when I began to panic.”

Sooyoung who took on the role of a viola player in the drama said, “I never played the instrument before so in the beginning I had a really hard time. Even still, I am not very good but I am thinking of perhaps making it my special hobby in the future.”

She continued, “Honestly, aegyo was harder for me than playing the viola. I don’t really have aegyo, but my character has a lot of aegyo.”

‘Third Hospital’ starring Sooyoung is a medical drama about a hospital that practices both eastern and western medicine. The drama unfolds the events that take place in the neurosurgery unit between two brothers- genius doctor Kim Doo Hyun (played by Kim Seung Woo) and genius acupuncturist Kim Seung Hyun (played by Oh Ji Ho), and the competition that exists between the two.

5tion’s Oh Byung Jin receives attention for his celebrity connections

5tion‘s Oh Byung Jin and his list of celebrity friends is becoming a hot topic.

Oh Byung Jin recently uploaded a snapshot of him and TVXQ‘s Yunho alongside fellow member, Lee Hyeon, on his Facebook page. The photo shows TVXQ’s Yunho holding 5tion’s latest album, ‘Reverse‘, while putting his thumb up in approval. Meanwhile, Oh Byung Jin is seen putting his arm around Yunho signifying their close friendship.

Oh Byung Jin and Yunho had a good relationship with each other before their debut. According to Oh Byung Jin, “We knew each other before our debut and Yunho is a close hoobae that I can depend on. Because my group members and I are lacking in dance skills, we learned a lot from Yunho on how to dance.”

Oh Byung Jin is also know for being best friends with actors Jung Woo Sung, Lee Jung Jae, and Oh Ji Ho. He launched a fashion clothing store with Jung Woo Sung and Lee Jung Jae, while he heads a kimchi business with Oh Ji Ho.

Oh Byung Jin and his group, 5tion, are currently receiving much popularity with their song, “Papillon“.
