K.Will’s “We Never Go Alone” stays high on the charts

K.Will and Jang Dong Gun are showing what their forces combined can accomplish, as “We Never Go Alone” has been at the top of the charts for over a week since its release!

As previously reported, the song was a personal present from K.Will to Jang Dong Gun and his staff friends of 10 years for the whiskey brand ‘Imperial‘. Ten days into its release, the song is still at the top of the charts, ranking in at sixth on the Gaon Chart. This combined with Jang Dong Gun’s status as the new small screen king with his drama, ‘Gentlemen’s Class‘, the effect seems it will be long lasting.

Marketing director Lee Sang Geun of the ‘Imperial’ campaign commented, “Genuinity is what people want in this generation. Genuine content is powerful. Through this project, we tried to send a message of communication, care, and things that people can connect to. The genuine story of Jang Dong Gun and his friends of ten years along with K.Will’s heartfelt participation managed to move the hearts of fans and create a positive response such as this.”

K.Will’s Japanese concerts sell out

Ballad singer K.Will‘s concerts in Osaka and Tokyo have completely sold out, surprising the entertainment industry insiders in Japan.

After completing his tour in Korea, K.Will had been preparing for his Japanese concerts in Osaka (June 21st) and Tokyo (June 23rd). With the opening up of the ticket sale, the 3,000 seats to both concerts sold out completely almost immediately.

This surprised many for concerts of solo singers, especially those who sing ballads, don’t sell out frequently. K.Will has managed to do so, and is already receiving requests for additional tickets.

Starship Entertainment stated, “After K.Will’s Japanese concert tickets sold out, there have been many inquiries asking for additional concerts. With all the support, we are also planning high-touch event with all the audience members after the concerts.”

K.Will releases MV for “We Never Go Alone”, special gift for actor Jang Dong Gun

K.Will‘s “We Never Go Alone” was just released by Loen Entertainment.

The song is a special gift for actor Jang Dong Gun and his friends. K.Will sings of communication, consideration, and sympathy in friendships.

K.Will met Jang Dong Gun through a premium Whiskey brand, Imperial‘s campaign and heard the story of Jang Dong Gun’s frienship with his 10 year staff members, hair and makeup artist Yang Hyung Shim and manager Jung Yong Won. After listening to their story of their lasting friendship through communication and being considerate to each other, K.Will was inspired to participate in writing the lyrics for this song.

Also, K.Will thanks his friends who have helped him to get to where he is through this song. K.Will debuted at a considerably late age and has released 5 albums in the 6 years since his debut. In addition, since last year he has been able to consistently rise to the number one spot on music shows as well as successfully finishing a nationwide tour. As he thought about all those who were with him from the start until now, and his agency family, K.Will shared that he hopes to be with them forever.
