INFINITE tops Oricon’s DVD music + combination chart with ‘INFINITIZE’ showcase DVD





INFINITE is on a roll in Japan!


Following their domination on the Tower Records pre-sales chart with ‘She’s Back‘, INFINITE has topped Oricon‘s DVD music chart and combination chart with their ‘INFINITIZE‘ showcase DVD!


The DVD contains footage of their five city showcase held in Korea back in May and was released as a limited edition in both Korea and Japan. Before even starting their official promotions for their upcoming single release, INFINITE has managed to top pre-sales and DVD sales chart on major Japanese music sites, demonstrating their rising popularity in the country.


Check back for their ‘She’s Back’ release on August 29th.

INFINITE achieves an all-kill with their new title song, “The Chaser”





INFINITE has achieved an all-kill with their latest release.


On May 15th, idol group INFINITE swept the charts with their title song “The Chaser” from their new mini-album ‘INFINITIZE‘.


“The Chaser” ranked #1 on Mnet, Cyworld Music, Bugs Music, Melon, Mnet, Soribada, and Olleh Music. INFINITE’s other tracks “Feel So Bad“, “That Summer“, “I Like You“, and “With” ranked high on the charts as well.


Their title song “The Chaser” is a song produced by Sweetune, and is receiving interest for it’s contemporary beat.

INFINITE cares more about their looks now compared to their debut days?





Group INFINITE discussed the visual changes within the group since their debut.


During an interview held at the Seoul Olympic Hall on May 15th, member Woohyun stated, “Many have complemented us that our looks have improved since our debut.


He continued, “We weren’t too concerned about our looks when we made our debut. However, now we all receive special skin treatments and our make-up artists also pay more attention to details than before to try to help us look even better.


‘Visual’ member L also added, “All the members are gradually finding their own style. Now each member has a hairstyle and stage oufit that suit them well.


Regarding the question on who changed the most since their debut, leader Sunggyu answered, “I think it would be Sungjong, who recently turned legal. Not only his looks, but also his personality has grown more manly and mature.


In addition, Woohyun stated, “We transformed our image for our comeback by cutting my hair short, Dongwoo dying his hair blue, and Hoya dying his hair purple.


In related news, INFINITE released their mini-album, ‘INFINITIZE‘, on May 15th. This album contains a total of 7 tracks with the title-song being “The Chaser” (Check out the MV here), which is a fast-paced song produced by Sweetune.

INFINITE’s Sunggyu admits he was scared to travel by helicopter





Idol group INFINITE held their ‘Mission Showcase’ on May 15, traveling to five different cities by helicopter in a single day to introduce their third mini-album to their fans.


Ahead of their Seoul showcase, the boys held a press conference at Olympic Park.


Member Sunggyu shared his thoughts on traveling by helicopter for the first time. “It was my first time riding a helicopter, and at first, the members were all scared. I held on to my seatbelt,” he said. “But I grew accustomed to it, and we talked a lot about the performance and about our fans, enjoying the free time.”


In regards to their ‘The Mission’ showcase, the members said, “When we first started planning this mission, we asked ourselves if it would be possible to cover five cities in a single day. Thankfully, the members and the staff worked really hard and now we only have one show left in Seoul.”


The boys who returned with a much more grown-up image also shared, “We think that Sungjong is the member who changed the most.”


Sungjong officially became an adult this year,” Sunggyu said. “He became much more masculine and mature. He is a rather tough and rugged guy, both on the inside and out.” But different from what was said about him, Sungjong who was seated next to Sunggyu gave a rather bashful smile, evoking laughter.


Meanwhile, the members revealed the MV to their title song “The Chaser” for the very first time at the showcase, officially kicking off promotions for their new 7-track mini-album, ‘INFINITIZE‘.

INFINITE reveals group teaser photo





After unveiling their new track, “Only Tears“, the boys of INFINITE have now shared a group teaser photo on their official homepage.


With 7 days remaining before the release of their third mini album ‘INFINITIZE‘ on May 15th, they could be revealing teaser photos for each of the individual members.

INFINITE plans to hold 5 showcases across Korea in 1 day – ‘The Mission’





INFINITE will be attempting an unprecedented showcase series covering 5 Korean cities in a single day!


On May 4th (KST), INFINITE’s official website unveiled plans for a mega showcase across the great nation of South Korea.


Titled ‘The Mission‘, on May 15th the boys of INFINITE will be starting with a showcase in the southwest portion of Korea in Gwangju at 9AM. The boys will then be traveling 126 miles east to Busan for a showcase at 12:00PM. This will be followed up by 3 more showcases in Daegu at 2:00PM, Daejeon at 5:00PM, and finally wrapping it all up in Seoul at 8:00PM.


The members will be meeting with their INSPIRITs all over the nation and put on their first ‘INFINITIZE‘ performance. They will also reveal their newest music video for the very first time at the showcases.


INFINITE will be traveling to each city in a helicopter to complete their Mission Impossible-like showcase.

INFINITE’s new album to be titled ‘INFINITIZE’?





After revealing the release date of their comeback, INFINITE has now released the name of their new album.


On May 3rd (KST), INFINITE’s official website was updated with the words: ‘INFINITIZE‘. The assumption is that ‘INFINITIZE’ will be the album name and the word means to free from limitations of space, time, circumstance, to cause something to become INFINITE.
