On June 28th, Jo Kwon tweeted, “Pre-recording for ‘Music Core’ is finally done… my official first performance.. I’ll show you guys the best performance. Please anticipate it. Cheer me on please.. Thank you :)”

Jo Kwon, 2AM member and now soloist, has raised much anticipation for his comeback after revealing that he would be wearing a staggering 19.5 cm tall pair of high heels.

The singer has been in the spotlight with the release of his solo album, and the various transformations he is able to undergo to showcase various sides of himself.

Jo Kwon reveals album jacket photo for ‘I’m Da One’

2AM member and now soloist Jo Kwon has revealed a jacket photo off his first solo album, ‘I’m Da One‘!

On June 20th, the album photo above was revealed, surprising many for it contrasts drastically with the “dark Jo Kwon” concept for the pre-released track, “Animal“.

Jo Kwon also shows off his newly dyed hair in the “cereal box” inspired album photo that gives a pop-art feel, promising a fresh and bright concept to go with the album.

However for those who prefer the dark concept, there is no need to fear for it has been revealed that his album, dropping on the 25th, will be available in two versions, the pop-art style, ‘I’m Da One’, and the dark charisma style, ‘Animal’.

Jo Kwon releases “Animal” & English “Just a Kiss” from solo album!

2AM‘s sweetheart Jo Kwon has just released not one, but two songs off his upcoming solo album, ‘I’m Da One‘! The two releases, “Animal” and “Just a Kiss”, already have fans raving as the powerful singer delivers yet again.

With an edgy electronic beat and addictive melody, “Animal” is the perfect song to polish off your summer party soundtrack. If you still had any second thoughts before, this track will wash away any doubts could have about this idol’s undeniable fierceness.

In contrast, “Just a Kiss” is an English ballad that features a beautiful instrumental and lyrics about being saved from the dark by a lover. As expected, Jo Kwon’s ballad voice carries the song.
