Singer Lim Jeong Hee to perform with Brian McKnight

Singer Lim Jeong Hee will be performing on stage with R&B legend Brian McKnight.

Brian McKnight will be introducing his latest full-length album, ‘JUST ME‘, to his Korean fans atJamsil Stadium in Seoul on the 26th. Lim Jeong Hee will be there as a special guest and duet partner.

“It’s a huge honor to be standing on the same stage as world-renowned R&B legend, Brian McKnight“, she said. “Please look forward to my duet stage with Brian McKnight!”

Lim Jeong Hee became a household name in Korea, thanks to her powerhouse vocals. The singer has been appearing on KBS‘s ‘Immortal Song 2‘ with solid covers of old-school hits.

‘Immortal Song 2′ airs episode #16

KBS‘s ‘Immortal Song 2‘ returned for another week of stunning performances put on by some of the best vocalists in the industry.

This week, the theme was ’7080 Big Match’, and a total of 14 vocalists came together to perform renditions of the biggest hits from the 70′s and 80′s. The contestants were divided into two rounds, with the first round airing this week.

Viewers got to see performances from Norazo‘s Lee Hyuk, Lee Jung, Lee Ki Chan, Lim Jeong Hee, Ali, Lee Haeri, Jung Hee Young.

The following round will see performances from Seo In Young, Hong Kyung Min, Go Yoo Jin, Shin Yong Jae, Lee Suk Hoon, Im Tae Kyung, and Joo Hee.

In a pre-survey asking contestants to choose someone they were most cautious of, the singers all chose 4MEN‘s Shin Yong Jae and Ali. Although Shin Yong Jae is the maknae of the pack (born in 1989), he’s earned the respect of senior artists for his impressive vocal talent.

Ali is also a highly anticipated artist amongst veteran singers. Lee Jung commented, “I personally love Ali. I’d love to be able to work on a recording with her some day.”
