Lee Minho receives offer to star in drama series ‘Loyalty’ with actress Kim Hee Sun

Actor Lee Minho could be starring in a new drama series soon.

A representative from Lee Minho’s agency Starhaus Entertainment remarked on February 23rd, “We have received an offer to star in the drama series ‘Loyalty‘ and are currently reviewing the script, however, we have not made a final decision.”

“‘Loyalty’ is just one of the projects we have received offers for, and we will be able to greet you through a new series soon,” the representative continued.

Ahead of their official response, a media outlet reported that Lee Minho had already been cast as the male lead in ‘Loyalty’, and would be acting alongside veteran actress Kim Hee Sun.

‘Loyalty’ will be a fantasy-historical fusion drama that tells the stories of the Goryeo Dynasty. The project is garnering high interest, as it is a collaboration between PD Kim Jong Hak and writer Song Jina who delivered the classic hit, ‘Hourglass‘.

Actress Kim Hee Sun was confirmed for the drama early on, and the staff members are working hard to secure a male lead. Other candidates for the role are Phillip Lee, Choi Minsoo, Lee Min Young, and more.

SBS has plans to air the first episode in August of this year.

On the most recent episode of tvN’s ‘Taxi’, an interview program that takes place in a taxicab, Kim Hee Sun climbed in with her husband.

The couple immediately generated comments of how they were a great-looking couple, as Kim Hee Sun’s elegant beauty was matched by Park Joo Young’s ruggedly handsome looks. More than their beauty, however, it was the couple’s cute public displays of affection that drew the most admiration from staff.

Kim Hee Sun to make small screen comeback after six years with Song Seung Hun

Actress Kim Hee Sun, who’s widely regarded as one of the most beautiful faces in Korea, has announced that she’ll be making her first small screen comeback in six years with Song Seung Hun for the historical fantasy drama, ‘Faith‘!

Kim Hee Sun’s last project was ‘Smile Again‘ in 2006, and she’s been on hiatus ever since getting married and giving birth in 2007. She was confirmed for the drama in 2010 but productions were delayed, naturally causing a delay in her comeback as well.

Preparations are finally underway, though, with talks of MBC picking it up for their network. After finalizing their cast list, filming will begin shortly after with this summer as its tentative broadcast date.

‘Faith’ is a fantasy drama that takes place during the Goryeo Dynasty. Centered around Korean medicine, the drama wlil be directed by PD Kim Jong Hak.

On December 27th, ginseng inspired makeup brand ‘Donginbi‘ revealed that actress Kim Hee Sun was their new CF model.

A representative from Donginbi stated that Kim Hee Sun’s luxurious image matched well with their upscale brand.

A new photo features Kim Hee Sun looking chic in her tied up hair, heavy eye makeup, and soft pink lipstick and blush. To complete the look, she wore a cape jacket and black lace blouse while holding onto leather gloves.
