Eugene’s head is 2cm smaller than the national average?

Actress and host Eugene recently displayed her small head on OnStyle‘s ‘Get It Beauty‘, brewing up the envy of the viewers.

On the August 1st broadcast of ‘Get It Beauty’, MCs Eugene and Kim Jung Min measured each others’ head size as the episode featured methods to attain a smaller head.

The measurements revealed that Eugene’s head was 14cm (5.5in) in width and 21cm (8.3in) in length, which is 1.9 cm slimmer and 1.2 cm smaller than the national average (the national average head size for females in Korea is 15.9cm wide and 21cm in length).

However, even though her head is already considered small, Eugene stated, “If my forehead was more narrow, my head could have been even smaller.”

On this broadcast, a “face pilates” trainer, Yong Sun Hee, and makeup artist, Kim Soo Bin, displayed their tips on how to acquire a small face.

S.E.S. reunites for the first time in 10 years for ‘Bazaar’

The original elf idols of K-Pop, S.E.S., have returned for the first time in 10 years for their pictorial with ‘BAZAAR‘!

Since their disbandment in 2002, the members have been standing before cameras as individual stars, pursuing various careers and activities like acting, musicals, and starting a family. For the first time in 10 years, however, they’ve gathered again for the charity bazaar ‘Green Heart‘.

‘Green Heart’ is a small event supported by member Bada for the past three years in support of a young and impoverished cellist named Minho. Eugene and Shoo have been supporting Bada’s efforts, but decided to take it a step further by launching ‘S.E.S.’s Green Heart’.

Alll proceeds from the bazaar will be donated to organizations protecting the environment and social efforts for the future of children.

Bada stated, “The reason we disbanded was to protect the name of S.E.S. We were young, but we promised each other to do something greater and better under the name of S.E.S.”

A representative of the pictorial stated, “Staff couldn’t help but exclaim their awe at Eugene, Bada, and Shoo’s first time in 10 years for a fashion spread. They stayed late at the set talking and laughing, and we all felt that S.E.S. was still as strong as ever.”

The bazaar will contain personal items from the members and special T-shirts designed by Eugene.

Singer Bada gets together with fellow S.E.S members for photo shoot

Bada recently informed followers that she had a small reunion with her past S.E.S members, Shoo and Eugene.

On May 11th, Bada uploaded the above photo and tweeted, “S.E.S photo shoot meeting yesterday~ Feels like this is the first time having an interview photo shoot with writer Kim Joong Man since 10 years ago when we filmed together.”

It’s really nice to see S.E.S together once in a while. Although the group debuted back in 1997, they still maintain their undying friendship that has been continuing for 15 years.

Followers admired S.E.S’ strong bond and commented, “The power of 1st generation idols!” and “They haven’t changed at all over the years.”

Eugene and Ki Tae Young enjoy a romantic European getaway

Eugene and Ki Tae Young publicly displayed their affection for one another, sharing a sweet kiss under the sunset at an outdoor cafe in Florence, Italy.

On April 17th, StoryOn‘s ‘Super Couple Diary‘ revealed photos of the married couple on their vacation in Europe. Netizens particularly noticed the way Ki Tae Young lovingly gazed at his beautiful wife.

S.E.S’ Eugene will face off Fin.K.L’s Lee Hyori through their reality shows ‘Super Couple Diary’ and ‘Golden 12′!

 

Former S.E.S member Eugene and former Fin.K.L member Lee Hyori will both reveal their private lives and once again become rivals through the reality shows, ‘Super Couple Diary‘ and ’Golden 12‘.

The two stars, who were both part of the two biggest girl groups in K-Pop during the early 2000′s, will be featured in two different reality shows broadcast on the same day.

Lee Hyori was selected as the MC for OnStyle‘s ‘Golden 12‘ that is broadcast on Thursdays at 11:10 P.M. ‘Golden 12′ aims to turn the focus away from her celebrity activities to her social life, where she works as a spokesperson for various societal problems and issues. For a while now, she’s been showing her support and interest in abandoned animals, suicide, the impoverished, and the elderly living alone, by communicating actively with her fans on social networks.

On the other hand, Eugene will also be showing her newlywed life with her husband, Ki Tae Young to the public through StoryOn‘s ‘Super Couple Diary‘, which will be broadcast at 2 P.M. on the same day as ‘Golden 12′ . This show will feature different star couple’s and show their lifestyles. The first episode will be broadcast on April 19th, where Eugene and her husband will visit a coffee street in Italy. Eugene’s agency, G.G Entertainment, stated that, “Eugene has a really open and cool personality and decided to be part of this reality show without much hesitation. She’s the type of person who doesn’t mind revealing her private life and was really positive about being featured on the show with her husband“.

So ‘Golden 12′ vs. ‘Super Couple Diary’ and ‘Fin.K.L’s Lee Hyori vs. S.E.S’s Eugene’. It seems like the two stars will be facing off against each other again, but this time through reality shows. Many are curious which show will have more viewers and popularity.

On March 18, Eugene and Ki Tae Young headed off to Rome, Italy at the Incheon International Airport.

The married couple is dressed brightly to welcome the spring season, and their frequent displays of attention have caught the attention of many online. It’s clear that love is in the air for these two lovebirds, as Ki Tae Young strokes Eugene’s hair and wraps his arm around her waist.

Eugene and her younger sister talk about their close relationship

Former SES member Eugene couldn’t stop her tears as she talked about her little sister.

On March 16, KBS‘ ‘Star’s Life Theater‘ featured Eugene and her sister who flew to Korea after her car accident in Guam.

Eugene talked about her relationship with her younger sister Kim Yoo Kyung saying, “We only have one year of age difference so that made us even closer. Our mom and dad worked at the restaurant so there were a lot of times when it was just the two of us.”

She continued saying, “Even if we fought, we were always together. My friends also became her friends.”

Eugene’s sister expressed the hardships she had of being away from her sister when she debuted with SES. Eugene’s sister shed tears while saying, “We used to do everything together so I was lonely.” She continued, “I went to the restaurant with my parents and stayed with them until nighttime. I couldn’t stay alone…”

Eugene couldn’t hold back her tears as she talked about how she first found out about how her sister was lonely. She said, “When I think back to those times, I was really absentminded. I only found out about Yu Kyung being lonely when my mom told me. I was really sorry. I was so busy that I didn’t think about how lonely my sister would be by herself.”

Eugene’s younger sister said, “She’s not just an older sister. Sometimes she’s like a parent and sometimes she’s like a friend. Even though I don’t ask her, she knows and does things for me so I am grateful for that. She is my one and only sister and I hope we continue to rely on each other.”

At her sister’s tears, Eugene said, “It’s really nice that you’re my little sister. I think the reason why we become sensitive and tear up at just the thoughts is because we’re family.”

Eugene & Ki Tae Young couple to star in a new reality show

Former S.E.S member Eugene and her husband Ki Tae Young will be revealing their blissful newlywed lives to the public.

Channel StoryOn will feature the newly married couple on their new reality program, ‘Super Couple Diary’.

From 2009 to 2011, StoryOn drew much attention for their hit show ‘Super Mom Diary‘, showcasing celebrities who were living their lives as both a wife and mom.

This time, StoryOn will be revealing the lives of star couples, while also giving them the chance to do some of the things they’ve always wanted to try as a couple.

Eugene & Ki Tae Young who were married last July recently revealed their new home on ‘Star Life Theater‘, but this will be the first time they will reveal their everyday married lives to the public.

The first episode is scheduled to air mid-April.

Former SES member Eugene explained why she chose to marry her husband, actor Ki Tae Young.

On the March 12th airing of KBS2‘s ‘Star Life Theater‘, Eugene hand made chocolates for her husband, who in turn, gifted her with roses.

“I don’t like vulgarism or delinquent players, and my husband does not reflect those kinds of characteristics at all,” she said.

“He’s like that in real life, too. He seems to have lived a disciplined life up until now, and that’s why I chose to marry him,” she continued. “He’s more than what I could have asked for.”

So Yoo Jin reveals her close friendship with S.E.S members Bada and Eugene

Actress So Yoo Jin revealed her close friendship with the members of original girl idol group, S.E.S’ Eugene and Bada.

On March 9th, So Yoo Jin posted the picture through her Twitter, with the words, “Although we’re close, we still use each others’ last names when we meet up with other people, Yoo Jin and Eugene.” (Yoo Jin and Eugene are spelled and pronounced the same way in Korean)

She added, “She came with Bada unnie to cheer on my performance! I was so nervous when I was singing.. Thank you.”

In the picture, the three beautiful ladies pose for the camera with bright smiles on their faces. As if to demonstrate the level of their closeness even more, So Yoo Jin uploaded a photo of a note that Eugene wrote for her.

Eugene received a “bank account proposal” from Kim Jae Dong?

Former SES member and actress Eugene revealed a story about Kim Jae Dong‘s “bank account proposal”, drawing the laughter of viewers.

Eugene featured on the March 1st broadcast of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Happy Together 3,’ where she revealed, “I went hiking with Kim Jae Dong once, and he showed me the balances of about 5 or 6 of his accounts.”

She explained that it was around lunch time, so the two of them had stopped to eat some kimbap when Kim Jae Dong suddenly pulled out his bank account information. She stated, “Kim Jae Dong told me that he lives for the fun of saving money,” which brought out laughs from the guests. Lee Hyori, who was sitting next to Eugene wittily replied, “Oh, he showed you too?” which had everyone laughing even harder.

With the guests and the MCs laughing over Kim Jae Dong’s attempt to lure in Eugene with money, Eugene tried to clear up the situation, stating, ”There was no ulterior motive. It was just a natural atmosphere.” However, the MCs disagreed as they replied, “Kim Jae Dong definitely had an ulterior motive.”

The conversation continued as they called Kim Jae Dong and got him on the phone. He defended himself, saying, “We were at the top of the mountain, and I showed her my bank accounts because there was nothing else to do,” which had everyone in stitches again.

The episode, which aired on the 1st, was a special episode for the 10th anniversary of ‘Happy Together’ with former MCs such as Shin Dong Yup, Tak Jae Hoon, Lee Hyori, and Eugene, who showed off their wit on the show.

Actress Eugene talked about the dating rumors that once surrounded her and now husband, actor Ki Tae Young.

On the March 1st episode of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Happy Together‘, Eugene remarked, “Everyone thinks I chased him around, trying to get him to date me.”

She explained that for them, it wasn’t exactly love at first sight. “When we first met, I had no idea we would develop feelings for one another.”

“My first impression of him was that he was a really cold guy that had a lot of walls up,” she explained. “But I knew that we had to be friendly for the sake of the drama, and so I approached him first.”

“The dating rumors began while we were filming the drama,” she said. “At the time, we really weren’t dating. We were just texting each other. I think maybe the ratings were lower than expected and the internal team started the rumors.”

“The scandal inevitably got us talking, and we naturally began dating. But he was the one that made the first move,” she said.
