CNBLUE reveals their wish to be the next ‘Gentlemen’s Class’ group + tops Oricon Weekly Chart







CNBLUE recently revealed their wish to become the handsome four member gang from SBS‘ hit drama ‘Gentlemen’s Class‘.


CNBLUE appeared as guests on tvN‘s ‘Baek Ji Yeon’s People Inside‘ and spoke about their thoughts on music, acting, and stories behind their debut. The group also revealed, “We want to be like the four lead male actors in ‘Gentlemen’s Class’.”


They even assigned each other with roles for each character. Yonghwa was chosen to play Kim Do Jin (Jang Geun Suk), Jonghyun was chosen as Lim Tae San (Kim Soo Ro), Minhyuk as Choi Yoon (Kim Min Jong), and Jungshin as Lee Jong Rok (Lee Jong Hyuk) and formed the group, ‘Gentlemen’s Class In Their 20s’.


Yonghwa also revealed how he persuaded Jonghyun, who was hesitant about his accent, to take the role as Collin in the drama by telling him, “Then don’t do it. If You don’t do it, I will tell the agency and have me in that role instead”, revealing his love for the drama.


Additionally, CNBLUE‘s third Japanese album ‘Code Name Blue‘ which was released back on August 29th has topped Oricon’s Weekly Album Chart!


The album sold a total of 45,151 copies for the week which was good enough to place it on top over AKB48‘s ‘1830m‘ album.
