‘I Am a Singer 2′ shows little hope for recovery in viewer ratings

MBC‘s ‘I Am a Singer 2‘ has been unable to overcome its slump as the show has placed in the bottom in viewer ratings for its time slot once again.

On August 20th, AGB Nielsen Media revealed that the episode broadcast on the 19th recorded 5.9%, a 0.2% drop since the previous week’s episode. Compared to shows on other networks in the same time slot, the numbers are dismal with minimum hope for recovery.

SBS‘ ‘I Like Sunday‘ and KBS‘ ‘Happy Sunday‘ recorded 16.9% and 14.8% respectively, maintaining their fierce level of competition.

The second season of the once wildy popular reality show kicked off with 8.2%  back in April, but has since dropped and maintained its numbers in the 5~6% range.
