On KBS‘s ‘1 Night 2 Days‘ that aired on January 15th, They showed the official height and weight of the cast members. However they made a mistake with Lee Seung Gi‘s profile and confused the viewers.
On this episode, National Soccer Players Lee Dong Gook and Lee Keun Ho became the captains of a Korean game called Jok Goo. A game similar to volleyball but instead of using hands you can only use your feet.
Eun Ji Won, Uhm Tae Woong, Lee Sun Gyun, Jang Woo Hyuk, and Kim Jong Min were on Lee Dong Wook’s team. Lee Suh Jin, Lee Seung Gi, and Lee Soo Geun were on Lee Geun Ho’s team. During the scene where the profiles of both teams were shown, it said that Lee Seung Gi was the same height as Lee Geun Ho and Jang Woo Hyuk and 2 cm shorter than Lee Suh Jin.
However if you look up his official profile, it says that his height is 182cm (5’11”) and his weight is 70kgs (154lbs). Just watching the three of them together, you can tell that Lee Seung Gi is taller than the other two.
Netizens responded to this mistake by saying, “If Lee Seung Gi is 176cm then how tall are the rest of them?” and “Jang Woo Hyuk is 176cm… Then does that make them the same height?“.
Meanwhile, Lee Dong Gook’s team won the Jok Goo game 15 to 13.
