Big Bang has even dominated Taiwan’s music charts, attesting to their unmatched popularity across all of Asia.
With their mini album ‘Alive,’ Big Bang claimed the #1 weekly spot of top music charts such as G Music and Five Music. Especially worth noting is that on G Music where they claimed the number one spot of not only the Korean-Japanese chart but also of the joint chart, which featured albums mostly released from Taiwan itself. Their share of the chart was a whooping 22.28% and they overwhelmingly surpassed the leading popularity of Taiwan’s female singer Tiger Huang, who had a rating of 4.8%.
Big Bang even claimed 2nd place on Japan’s Oricon Daily Chart and 2nd on the iTunes chart. With their domination of the Taiwan music chart, they confirmed their explosive popularity across all of Asia.
Big Bang is currently promoting their song ‘Blue.’ After their promotion activities end in May, Big Bang will travel to Nagoya, Yokohama, Osaka, Saitama, and Hukuoka regions to hold the ‘2012 Big Bang Alive Tour in Japan,’ which will attract over 130,000 fans.
