Comedian Yoo Se Yoon plans to retire from the industry in three years

At the production conference of his self-produced Mnet show, ‘Yoo Se Yoon’s Art Video‘, comedian Yoo Se Yoon revealed his plans for retirement from the entertainment industry.

Reporters asked about his position between a celebrity and a movie director, to which he replied, “Personally, I don’t feel that being a celebrity is the right fit for me. I know that I should put that side of me away while focusing on this, but I recently renewed my contract with my agency so I have three years of it left. After three years, I don’t want to pursue being a celebrity anymore.”

He continued, “It’s been hard for me because you have to talk so much as a celebrity. Directing is something I enjoy because it gives you room to think. The depressive feelings I’ve had have become better by working through ‘Art Video’.”

Netizens were surprised by his statement, commenting back, “I’m too shocked by this”, and “I hope that he’ll cancel his retirement plans.”

‘Yoo Se Yoon’s Art Video’ will air on June 5th at 11 p.m. KST.

Brown Eyed Girls’ Narsha shares her thoughts on plastic surgery

Singer and now actress, Narsha, recently opened up about her feelings on plastic surgery.

On the May 2nd broadcast of MBC’s ‘Radio Star‘, Brown Eyed Girls member Narsha was told that she was much prettier now than she was when BEG first debuted.

MC Kim Gu Ra stated, “The Brown Eyed Girls’ wasn’t so attractive at the time of their debut. I didn’t think they would last very long.”

Fellow MC Yoo Se Yoon then added, “I saw the Brown Eyed Girls’ before their debut, and they didn’t seem very noteworthy. I thought that maybe their debut could possibly be delayed,” suggesting that the girls may delay their debut to undergo plastic surgery and allow for recovery time.

“I have gotten much prettier and happier,” Narsha admitted, while the MCs continued to agree that fellow Brown Eyed Girls member Miryo got much prettier as well.

“Because we are celebrities, it is impossible for us not to consistently monitor ourselves,” she said. “We often get hurt because of our appearance, and as a result, we tend to pay more attention to the way we look. Miryo was also probably very conscious about her looks and felt a desire to become more beautiful. I don’t think plastic surgery is a bad thing,” she stated honestly.

Others who were on this episode were Narsha’s ‘The Moon That Embraces the Sun‘ co-stars Jung Eun Pyo, Seon Woo Jae Duk, and Kim Woong Soo.
