Some netizens skeptical that T-ara handwrote the apology letter

Earlier today, Core Contents Media responded to rumors that the T-ara members did not write the apology letter themselves by stating that, “The T-ara members all got together to compose the letter, and the oldest unni Qri wrote it. They then posted it to Core Contents Media’s official homepage.”

However, when the apology letter was released on August 29th, Core Contents Media stated during an interview that, “Hyomin wrote the letter as the representative of T-ara.” Although it is true that it doesn’t really matter who wrote the letter, some netizens have shown annoyance by the fact that T-ara’s agency has been releasing statements that do not seem legitimate nor trustworthy.

Various netizens have been uploading captures of T-ara’s past handwritten material, comparing the writing styles and are now skeptical about whether someone else wrote the letter for the group instead. Netizens responded, “Why are they making so many controversies?“, “Finally releasing an apology letter right before their comeback? Hmm..“, and “If the letter was written by someone else, I don’t feel that they are sincerely apologizing to the public. It just seems that they are trying to annul the issue for their comeback.”

T-ara’s Qri transforms into Tinkerbell

T-ara’s Qri tweeted on July 10th a photo and wrote, “Find Tinkerbell!”

In the photo, Qri is wearing a white dress with blond hair and looks like, well, Tinkerbell! She also blinged out her phone making her shine like a modern age fairy.

Fans who saw the photo commented, “How is she so pretty?,” “Here’s Tinkerbell“, “Her clothes and appearance are all perfect.”

T-ara’s Hyomin, Qri and Eunjung reveal wild new hair styles for upcoming comeback

From the 60’s antics of Roly-Poly to the zombie apocalyptic club-goers of Lovey Dovey, the seven, soon to be nine, ladies of T-ara have unveiled yet another wild concept photo for their upcoming comeback with Day by Day.

On June 26th, Hyomin released a selca of herself with two other T-ara members following with the caption “Hehehehe.” The photo shows members Eunjung, Qri and Hyomin sitting side by side, posing nonchalantly. Fans have taken notice of the girls’ outfits featuring animal prints, graphic tees and Versace-esque tops accentuated by bold, metallic accessories. Aside from the attire, however, was the girls’ shocking new hairstyles. Hyomin can be seen flaunting a stunning bright pink hairstyle, while Qri is seen with a long teal hairdo and Eunjung, a deep black short cut.

Netizens’ responses to the picture have been explosive, with some commenting on how difficult it is to determine T-ara’s concept. “They look like little cute billard balls! I really wonder what this concept is,” comments one netizen, “It’s shocking yet somehow very classy at the same time, Hyomin’s pink hair catches my eye the most.”

Meanwhile, T-ara will be hosting a fan meeting with fan club QUEEN’S at the Kyeonghee University’s Hall of Peace on July 14th. The girls will also be busy readying their first solo concert expected to kick off on August 11th.

Female idol stars who were once models for online shopping malls

As many of you may know, there are a number of female idol stars who were once models for online shopping malls before debuting as a K-Pop artist.

Recently, the above compilation photo surfaced on an online community site with the title, ‘Girl group members who were shopping mall models‘. Although this photo doesn’t include every female idol who had once modeled for online shopping malls, it includes some of the popular names we hear about everyday.

The ladies in the photo included KARA‘s Hara, T-ara‘s Hyomin, Qri, and Hwayoung, miss A‘s Suzy, and 5dolls‘ Hyewon.

Suzy looked lovely in her pink blouse and black skirt, while Hara displayed her chic appeals with black-rimmed glasses, and Qri and Hyomin sported outfits that showcased their flawless figures. Hwayoung showcased a tidy and mature look in her black and white professional wear, as Hyewon looked youthful in a vibrant red jacket.

Netizens were impressed upon seeing the photo, as the the girls were as beautiful back then as they are now.

“This is before their debut, but they all look so good,” they wrote in response, as well as “I didn’t know so many of them were models prior to their debut,” and “They are all so pretty!”

T-ara’s Qri passes role in a Japanese drama to good friend Lee Haein

Lee Haein will be making her first appearance on a Japanese drama, thanks to her good friend Qri (Lee Ji Hyun) from T-ara.

Core Contents Media remarked on the 26th, “Qri received an offer to be in FujiTV‘s ‘Bayside Shakedown‘, but she graciously gave up the opportunity to her friend Lee Haein, and Lee Haein will now be playing the role of Suhyun in the drama.”

“Although Qri was optimistic about her role in the ‘Bayside Shakedown’ television special, she offered the role to her friend, as she herself will be quite busy promoting in both Korea and Japan,” they explained.

This project is a collaboration between director Katsuyuki Motohiro, whom directed ‘Bayside Shakedown’ the movie and writer Ryoichi Kimizuka. Lee Haein will be playing the role of ‘Suhyun’, a foreign female who is known to be incredibly beautiful and possesses fluent Japanese skills.

‘Bayside Shakedown Television Special’ will begin broadcasting this September. Also be on the lookout for Lee Haein as she is scheduled to be making her girl group debut in May.

Is T-ara’s Qri in love?

Due to her recent tweet, many fans are wondering if T-ara member Qri is in love!

On November 1st, Qri tweeted, “1. Eat ice cream 2. Watch a movie 3. Break apart in front of room. Healthy weekend date.”

With her wishful expression, netizens are musing whether there’s a hidden message behind Qri’s words. Netizens replied with, “Are you showing us you’re dating?“, “It seems she really does have a boyfriend“, “That’s why she was prettier“, and “If she had put less eye makeup, it would have been fine…”
