Actor Kim Soo Hyun and figure skating queen, Kim Yuna, posed as a sweet couple in a recent photoshoot.

The two participated in an advertisement of a shoe brand with the photoshoot concept being White Day. (If you don’t know what White Day is, read about it here)

Even in their casual attire their good looks shone through. With Kim Yuna’s popularity as the CF queen, and Kim Soo Hyun’s explosion of popularity with MBC‘s ‘The Moon that Embraces the Sun‘, the photoshoot has grabbed many netizens’ attention.

Netizens responded with, “Why are both of their heads so small?“, “Although Kim Soo Hyun is behind Kim Yuna, his head is smaller“, “The small-headed couple“, and “They look great together.”

MBLAQ’s Lee Joon confirms that Kim Yuna is still his ideal type

Yesterday we reported that MBLAQ held a press conference for KBS Joy’s ‘Hello Baby‘ Season 5.

During the press conference, MBLAQ’s Lee Joon was asked if his ideal type had changed, after choosing figure skater Kim Yuna as his ideal woman on KBS’s ‘Star Golden Bell‘.

He affirmed, “Nothing has changed. I like Kim Yuna as a fan. She worked hard to become the best in her field and achieved her goal, that’s why she’s my ideal type”.

He also added, “I’m a person who is consistent (with my beliefs)”.

Looks like Lee Joon is a fan of hard working women.

Meanwhile, the season premiere for ‘Hello Baby’ will air on January 19th.

Jo In Sung names figure skater Kim Yuna as his ideal woman

Actor Jo In Sung has named Korea’s figure skating queen Kim Yuna as his ideal woman.

On December 7th’s episode of ‘Show King‘, Jo In Sung took part in ’Ideal Type World Cup’ to see which female celebrity came close to his ideal.

The candidates included some of Hallyu’s top stars, such as Go Hyun Jung, Shin Mina, Ha Ji Won, Son Yejin, Kim Yuna, Lee Hyori, BoA, SNSD‘s YoonA, and more.

To choose the four ‘finalists’, Jo In Sung selected Go Hyun Jung (over Jeon Doyeon), Kim Yuna (over IU), Ha Ji Won (over Song Ji Hyo), and Wonder Girls‘ Sohee (over miss A‘sSuzy). He also preferred Lee Boyoung (over Kim Haneul), and SNSD’s YoonA (over actress Son Yejin), BoA (over Lee Hyori), and Shin Mina (over Kim Sarang).

Ha Ji Won, BoA, YoonA, and Kim Yuna made it to the final round, but Jo In Sung chose Kim Yuna without any hesitation.

He explained, “When I get tired of acting, there are times I get frustrated with myself. When that happens, I just push forward even if I don’t want to. There was one time I saw Kim Yuna fall while she was rehearsing her routine. When she hit the ice, she slammed her fist in frustration and got right back up. When I saw that, I just thought, ‘This is it‘.”

MC Kim Soomi evoked laughter by remarking, “I wish Kim Yuna would agree to have a cup of tea with you.”

Meanwhile, Jo In Sung who’s built a 9-year friendship with MC Kim Soomi, served as the first guest for ‘Show King’ and surprised the MCs with his witty personality.

Korea’s figure-skating queen Kim Yuna has delivered an impressive pictorial for Harper’s Bazaar magazine.

Harper’s December issue introduced a special edition with three different versions of her cover. From the crimson background and smoky-eye makeup to the chic hat on her head, Kim Yuna embodied an enigmatic charisma in the first version. In the second, she looks fantastic in a fur ensemble, which brought out her natural elegance. In the last, she emphasizes her figure with a dress and long boot in a pose fit only for high fashion.

Netizens have been busily commenting, “She could stop skating and become a model,” “Her expressions and poses make her a perfect model,” “A goddess with no flaws,” “I  may have to buy all three versions” and “She looks like a doll.”
