‘To the Beautiful You’ releases still cuts of Minho and Sulli’s first meeting

Still cuts of SHINee‘s Minho and f(x)‘s Sulli meeting for the very first time in their SBS drama, ‘To the Beautiful You‘, have been released!

The two will be coupling up for a fresh and romantic high school love line, with Sulli playing the role of the bright and positive ‘Jaehee’ and Minho playing the role of the cranky but athletic ‘Kang Taejun’.

As they’re two of the biggest idol stars in the industry today, all eyes are on them and their couple acting skills. The scene was filmed in Ichun on July 12th, and staff remarked that although their characters take off to a rocky start in the drama, Minho and Sulli are actually a lot like close siblings off set.

The two would often be seen talking about their scenes and asking questions to better themselves with the director and fellow cast members.

Producers stated, “Sulli and Minho are always discussing their characters and the drama, and are working very hard to present natural acting and chemistry. Please look forward to how they’ll stand before viewers with their characters.”

‘To the Beautiful You’ begins airing on August 15th.
