Celebrate Asian Pacific American Heritage Month with Jay Park and Verizon!





This May, Verizon Wireless will celebrate Asian Pacific American Heritage Month (APAHM) with a four-city concert tour featuring the international sensation, Jay Park. Already in its fifth year, Verizon’s APAHM Tour honors the significant contributions and rich cultural heritage of Asian Pacific American community. This year, the tour will make stops in the following cities:

In addition to the tour,  a tour sweepstakes as well as a meet and greet will be held, giving you even  more opportunities to see Jay Park!


Tour Sweepstakes


Now through May 5th, Jay Park fans can enter the Verizon APAHM Tour Sweepstakes for a chance to win a trip to Los Angeles to see Jay Park live. The prize package includes two VIP tickets, backstage access, roundtrip airfare and a two-night hotel stay. There is no purchase necessary to participate, and to enter, an individual must be 18 years or older. Jay Park Meet and Greets


At each tour stop, Jay Park will make special appearances at select Verizon Wireless Communications Stores to meet his fans. Consumers attending the meet-and-greets are encouraged to bring no-longer-used phones, batteries, and accessories to donate to HopeLine® from Verizon.


HopeLine is Verizon’s national recycling program that accepts no-longer-used phones, batteries and accessories, and turns them into support for domestic violence victims and survivors. The program also keeps electronic wastes out of landfills, helping to save the environment. Since 2001, HopeLine has kept more than 269 tons of electronic waste and batteries out of landfills.
