Loen Entertainment reveals new photo of upcoming girl group FIESTAR

Last month, Loen Entertainment revealed that they would be debuting a new six-member girl group going by the name of FIESTAR.

The girls recently participated in the ‘Loen Tree’ Summer project for the track “Sea of Moonlight” with labelmate IU and now they’re set to make their debut. Just minutes ago, FIESTAR’s official Twitter added the above photo along with the tweet: “[D-15] Let’s FIESTAR!!! #FIESTAR_Debut“.

The group consists of members Jei, Linzy, Hyemi, Yezi, Cheska, and Caou Lu. They’re of various nationalities as they’re from countries like Korea, U.S., and China. These girls are said to be skilled and thoroughly trained, having gone through an average of four years of training, and have been practicing together for two years after the formation of the group.

Like their name, the girls aspire to bring exciting and energetic music to all the listeners out there and transform their stages into a fiestar (festival or party), all the while showcasing their talented vocals and performances.

‘Superstar K3′ contestant Shin Ji Soo to sign with Loen Entertainment

‘Superstar K3‘ contestant Shin Ji Soo will be signing a contract under Loen Entertainment, home to artists like IU, Sunny Hill, Zia, and more.

According to a source in the music industry, Shin Ji Soo is currently in disccusion to sign a contract with Loen Entertainment.

The agency also confirmed the news as a representative recently spoke with Star News through a phone call, stating, “Athough an official contract has not been signed, we are in discussion with Shin Ji Soo and her contract is being positively reviewed. The contract should be signed soon.”

Shin Ji Soo was a contestant on Mnet‘s popular audition program ‘Superstar K’ season 3 and made it into the Top 7. She is also known to be singer Huh Gak‘s friend from church.

Sunny Hill’s Joobi celebrates her birthday

Sunny Hill‘s Joobi is celebrating her 27th (Korean age) birthday!

On August 4th, fellow member SeungA, Kota, Misung, and even Loen Entertainment took to Twitter to publicly wish leader Joobi a happy birthday with heart-warming messages

SeungA tweeted, “To Joobi unnie ♥ Unnie… Happy birthday~ Wow… Soon, it’ll be 10 years since we’ve been together… Instead of celebrating at the dorm, let’s celebrate your birthday by going to a place with a great atmosphere next year. I’ll behave better from now on. But, I’m sorry for uploading a photo from 7 years ago ☞☜.”

Maknae Kota wrote, “Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you! Congratulations on your birthday Kim Joobi ♥ I love you Kim Joob ♥.”

Misung added, “My love, your love, Hillers’ love, Joob~ ♥ Happy birthday and I love you~ ♥ Now, you’re the same age as… Ah, I can’t say ^_^ Let’s stay together for eternity! Unnie-line fighting! Once again, happy birthday.”

Chiming in with the Sunny Hill members, Loen Tree’s twitter also uploaded a message delivering the news of Joobi’s birthday by posting, “Congratulations ♥ Today is! Sunny Hill’s Joobi’s birthday :) Please wish her x1000 happy birthday so she can have the happiest and greatest birthday ;D #HappyBirthday_JuB.”

Loen Tree ranks high on music charts with “Sea of Moonlight” upon release

Loen Tree, comprised of Loen Entertainment artists and producers, is rapidly gaining much interest after releasing their first song “Sea of Moonlight” on July 26th.

Produced by team ‘Tae Bong & Sizer‘ and lyrics penned by Kim Yi Na, the track “Sea of Moonlight” features soloist IU and fresh rookie girl group FIESTA‘s sweet harmonization. ”Sea of Moonlight” is a catchy, upbeat song that also blends an 80s synth-pop sound and is a refreshing track that is perfect for summer.

Upon its digital release, “Sea of Moonlight” has been performing well, ranking high on various real-time music charts. As of 12PM (KST), the track ranks #1 on Bugs, Soribada, Daum, and Naver, #2 on Olleh and Mnet, and #5 on Melon.

Fans have been responding positively, leaving comments like, “It’s easy to sing along and is also very catchy“, “I think it’s the perfect summer song“, “This has exceeded my expectations“, and more.

On July 20th, the ‘nation’s little sister’ IU wrote on Twitter, “I just got back from watching the musical ‘La Cage Aux Folles’ after being invited by 2AM’s Changmin oppa. It was really fun! I’ll spend my 3 day break meaningfully! ‘La Cage Aux Folles’ is the best!”

IU successfully concluded her solo concert ‘Real Fantasy‘ in Daegu on July 15th and relased her 2nd Japanese single titled ‘You & I‘ on the 18th. The singer has been busy traveling back and forth between Korea and Japan, leaving many fans worried for her health.

Fans were relieved upon hearing news of her short break commenting, “I hope she enjoys her break!“, “Have fun!“, “Three days is too short“, and more.

Loen Entertainment artists form ‘Loen Tree’ to release a summer project album

IU, Sunny Hill, Zia, Ga-In, and upcoming girl group FIESTA, have come together under ‘Loen Tree‘ to produce a summer project album!

Loen Entertainment will be revealing Loen Tree’s first title track off their summer album, appropriately titled ‘Summer Story‘, on July 26th.

This project album will feature not only the established talented artists under the agency, but also their new girl group, FIESTA, and produced by G.Gorilla, Lee Min Soo, and Ra.D.

After revealing the first title track on the 26th, Loen Tree will then release the second title track as well as the rest of the album on August 2nd.

Loen Tree is a new label under Loen Entertainment’s artist management as well as a creative brand that will help show the public the musical activities of Loen artists. With this summer album as a start, the artists under the agency will kick off various activities through the Loen Tree brand.

A video teaser for ‘Summer Story’s first title track will be revealed on July 23rd, so stay tuned for updates!

According to the agency, which houses IU, has revealed that they will be debuting a new six-member girl group going by the name of FIESTA in August.

The group consists of members of various nationalities including Korea, U.S., and China. These girls are said to be skilled and thoroughly trained, having gone through an average of four years of training, and have been practicing together for two years after the formation of the group.

Like their name, the girls aspire to bring exciting and energetic music to all the listeners out there and transform their stages into a fiesta (festival), all the while showcasing their talented vocals and performances.

Along with the news of the debut of the group, Loen has also released a picture of the leader, Jae.

‘K-Pop Star’ contestant Yoon Hyun Sang signs on with Loen Entertainment

‘K-Pop Star‘ contestant Yoon Hyun Sang has signed a contract with Loen Entertainment.

Representatives of the agency revealed, “Yoon Hyun Sang recently signed a contract with us and is now preparing for his debut. We decided to sign him on after seeing his musical talent and potential. We will be doing all we can to support his musical activities in the future.”

Yoon Hyun Sang was known as the ‘musical prodigy’ during his time on the popular audition program but was unfortunately eliminated in the ‘Top 7′. Producer Cho Young Chul stated, “I had personal meetings with him several times and found that he not only had composition skills, but also a lot of hidden potential and talent that we will be able to discover in the future.”

He continued, “Just like IU, I’m looking forward to Yoon Hyun Sang receiving love from the public as a singer-songwriter that has his own distinctive style.”

Yoon Hyun Sang hinted at his contract with the company when he guested at IU’s tour concert on June 9th. IU had spotlighted him on stage by revealing that producer Cho Young Chul was pushing to have him signed by the company.

Yoon Hyun Sang stated, “I’m really glad and thankful that I can deliver such great news to my fans who’ve supported me all this time. I’m going to prepare and work hard under a company that believes in me and my music.”

Sunny Hill’s Joobi’s secret method of maintaining her slim figure is by eating samgyeopsal?

Many girl groups have been known for undergoing strict diets to perfect their bodies, such as eating only small amounts of calories, an intense diet regimen, and more. However, Sunny Hill‘s Joobi has proven those drastic measures unnecessary through a recent shared photo.

A photo of Joobi’s slim figure and a second photo of her gorging food in front of a pan full of samgyeopsal (pork belly meat) drew the curiosity of netizens as to how the singer is able to maintain her shape.

Joobi is preparing to debut as an actress with her casting in tvN‘s new drama ‘I Love Italy‘. She has been cast in the  role of hyper character, Ha Soon Sim, the leader of idol group ‘Apple Head’. Although Jubi will need to focus on maintaining a slim figure for the role, netizens were surprised seeing the photo of her eating samgyeopsal, a food not listed under the diet category.

A representative of Sunny Hill’s agency, LOEN Entertainment, stated, “Joobi doesn’t force herself to eat only one category of food for her diet. Instead, she eats chicken and often enjoys eating samgyupsal as well. We believe the reason she’s still able to maintain her slim figure is due to the tremendous amount of daily practice she puts in to complete her schedules.”

It is said that Joobi normally practices dance choreographies for more than three hours, but due to her role in the new drama, she has been practicing twice as hard as before.

Meanwhile, the new Monday-Tuesday drama, ‘I Love Italy’, is scheduled to air its first broadcast on May 28th after ‘Marriage Plot‘. The drama is about a 14 year old boy, Geum Eun Dong, who suddenly transforms into the body of a 25 year old. The fantasy romance recounts the story of Geum Eun Dong falling in love with the charming heiress, Lee Tae Ri (Italy). Super Junior‘s Kim Kibum and actress Park Yejin will be the main leads of the drama.

IU to release a special single album on May 11th

Popular singer IU, dubbed by many as the “the nation’s little sister”, will be making a special comeback through a single album and short film.

On May 11th, IU is scheduled to release a 3-track single album titled “A 20-year-old’s Spring“, with the first track set to be released on the 4th.

This single album will mark 6 months since the release of her last album, and will serve as a gift for her fans who have showered her with love. The promotional track will be extra special in that it will be a self-composed song by IU herself.

Coinciding with her musical release will be a short film, also titled “A 20-year-old’s Spring“. Unlike an ordinary music video, this short film will give fans an insight into IU’s personal, as well as, musical life. It will mark IU’s coming-of-age as she turns 20, and will explore the 4-year journey since her debut.

A representative from IU’s management company Loen Entertainment explained, “Instead of the usual style of comeback song, IU’s third single album will serve as a complement to the story and emotion of the short film. Please look forward to this special and  release.”

In related news, the promotional single will be released on the 4th, approximately one week ahead of the full single release on the 11th.

IU and her agency have a ‘verbal battle’ on Twitter

Singer IU and her agency, LOEN Entertainment, have once again amused fans as they were seen having a “verbal battle” on Twitter.

To celebrate Sunny Hill‘s comeback with their title song “Is the White Horse Coming“, LOEN Entertainment wrote on their official Twitter, “Receive an Asea Prinsoo t-shirt just by requesting Sunny Hill’s ‘Is the White Horse Coming’ on the radio! 10 winners will be selected and will receive a signed Asea Prinsoo t-shirt.”

Upon seeing the mini radio event, IU showed a lukewarm reaction by replying, “Who would request the song just to receive that t-shirt!!” Her agency immediately tweeted back with, “Singer Ms. IU, you’re making things difficult if you behave like this,” and attached a photo of IU poking her head out the window of a car while wearing the t-shirt as if she was bragging.

IU later changed her tone and showed her support for the event by tweeting, “Everyone, please send in lots of requests^^.”

Fans who came across their conversation commented, “They both are hilarious,” “I’ll be requesting,” and “Then why are you wearing it IU? Keke.”

Labelmates IU & Sunny Hill are “LOEN Princesses”

LOEN Entertainment recently updated their Twitter with a fresh new photo of their artists IU and Sunny Hill together.

The photo was uploaded on April 22nd with a caption that read, “{IU+Sunny Hill} Loen’s five fairies have gathered for the first time in a while at Inkigayo… I introduce you to our ‘Loen Princesses’ XD”

The five labelmates all wear matching shirts with the Sunny Hill logo and ‘Asea Prinsoo’ print.

Upon seeing the tweet, Sunny Hill’s Misung retweeted the post and wrote, “It rather seems like five ‘Asea Prinsoo’ fanclub members.” Fellow member Seungah did the same but wrote, “But… since when was I smaller than IU!?”

Fans were pleased to see the labelmates getting along and commented, “Loen family is so cute“, “I like the name ‘Loen Princesses’“, “Is there a way to buy those shirts?“, and, “I’d like to join the fanclub.”
