Kim Bum models with Ariel Lin as the new model for China’s ‘Eichitoo’

Actor Kim Bum has been selected as as a new endorsement model for Chinese clothing brand ‘Eichitoo‘.

The rising Hallyu star recently made his way over to China to complete his photoshoot there, where he captivated the cameras with his intense gaze. Kim Bum was joined by Taiwanese actress Ariel Lin, who’s best known as the ‘Queen of Dramas’ in China thanks to her roles in dramas like ‘Playful Kiss‘.

Dressed in a clean, all black outfit, Kim Bum showed off his masculinity, which was paired well by the sophisticated charm of Ariel Lin.

A staff on set revealed, “Kim Bum has been earning a lot of attention in China thanks to his perfect acting and looks. He’s been making a name for himself in China’s fashion and advertisement industry, and he showed great synergy with Ariel Lin on the set.”

He continued, “Ariel Lin conversed with Kim Bum in Korean and praised him for being as cool as Jin Chengwu.”

Kim Bum prepares special events for his first Japanese album release

Actor Kim Bum is gearing up for the promotion of his first studio album in Japan!

Scheduled for release on June 20th, Kim Bum will be meeting with fans at the ‘Venus Port’ in Odaiba on the 24th to celebrate the release of his first album. He will also be participating in various interviews with different media outlets before making his way back to Korea on the 25th.

The event will be large scale in that it’ll accommodate about 1,500 fans in an open area. He’ll be singing and answering questions followed by a special handshake event to bid everyone farewell.

Kim Bum has always shown his musical talents through OST participations in his dramas like ‘Boys Over Flowers‘ and ‘The Woman Who Still Wants to Marry‘. Now that he’s releasing his very own Japanese album, he’ll be embarking on the road of becoming a well-rounded Hallyu star capable of both singing and acting.

His album will contain a total of seven songs filled with the sweet scent of summer like his title track ballad, “Home Town“. Produced under ‘Pony Canyon’, the album is the work of producer Park Geun Chul, who’s known for several Korean OST hits already. Park worked in hand with writer Shirai Yuki and SATOMI, who’s penned the lyrics for songs like SMAP‘s “It’s a Wonderful World“, Nakashima Mika‘s “Snow Flower“, and KAT-TUN‘s “Precious One” and “I’ll Be With You“.

Kim Bum and Sung Yuri donate personal items to UNICEF for ‘International Day of the African Child’

Actors Kim Bum and Sung Yuri have donated their personal items to aid children in Africa.

Kim Bum posted on his me2day on the 15th, “Hello, this is Kim Bum, the special ambassador for UNICEF. The King Kong Entertainment family and UNICEF have come together to donate our personal items to help children in Africa! Tomorrow is the International Day of the African Child.”

Sung Yuri also posted, “I’ve donated my personal items along with the King Kong family… Let’s all do good deeds together.”

Netizens commented, “I thought just his face was good looking, but Kim Bum’s heart is amazing too,” “I want Sung Yuri’s sneakers,” and “Maybe it’s because you’re helping others, but you look prettier.”

The International Day of the African Child is celebrated every year on June 16. King Kong Entertainment and UNICEF will be holding an auction to help the cause until June 30th.

Kim Bum featured on cover of Chinese magazine, ‘men’s uno’

Kim Bum graced the cover of the June issue of Chinese magazine ‘men’s uno‘.

Not only is Kim Bum featured on the cover, he also has a four-page photo shoot devoted to him.

In the revealed photo of the cover, Kim Bum exudes a soft, sensitive look, while still emanating a powerful masculine appeal.

A representative of HS Media, Jason Jang, stated, “Kim Bum, with his visuals, appeal to the Chinese/Taiwanese area as an actor. Currently, he is rising as the blue chip of the fashion and advertising industry in the area. We planned this filming as he is an artist with popular appeal.”

The magazine is distributed throughout China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.

Photos from the set of ‘Miracle‘ (directed by Kwon Ho Young) starring actors Kim Kang Woo and Kim Bum have been revealed.

Kim Kang Woo tweeted on May 10th, “At the Jecheon set filming for ‘Miracle’,” and added a set of photos from the location.

Fans commented, “With those two pictures alone, my anticipation has risen a lot,” “You’re both bursting with charisma,” and “It looks like fireworks.”

‘Miracle’ is a fantasy thriller film about detective Yang Chun Dong (Kim Kang Woo) and a case involving a missing child with teenager Jun (Kim Bum), who’s caught grafitting the scene of the crime, as the prime suspect.
