MYNAME mesmerizes the female guests on ‘Quiz to Change the World’

MYNAME stole the hearts of the female guests on MBC‘s ‘Quiz to Change the World‘.

While recently filming for the show, MYNAME guest starred and performed their new song “Hello & Goodbye” with their powerful and high level synchronized choreography, receiving hot responses from all the female guests.

MYNAME’s Insoo shook the women’s hearts by showcasing his specialty, ballet. After seeing Insoo’s flexibility and talented ballet dance, Park Mi Sun and Lee Kyung Shil praised him with, “This is the first time watching such beautiful moves performed by a man.” In addition, it’s been reported that after seeing Insoo slipping during the ballet dance, Kim Ji Sun shouted, “Who made the floor so slippery when our Insoo is doing ballet?” and went to wipe the floor herself.

The guests were also surprised to find out that Insoo is a teacher who taught gymnastic athletes Son Yeon Jae and Shin Suzy. His agency shared, “Insoo was in charge of Son Yeon Jae and Shin Ji Su and taught them basic ballet for 2 years. Those athletes call Insoo ‘teacher’.”

Insoo added, “It’s been a while since I’ve been on an entertainment show so I had a lot of worries and couldn’t sleep. I made some mistakes because I was nervous but the seniors treated me well so I tried even harder in the filming. I want to go on entertainment shows continuously from now on and display my talents.”

This episode of ‘Quiz to Change the World’ will air on the 16th.

MYNAME reveals an accident that occurred on the set of their “Hello & Goodbye” MV

If you aren’t familiar with Korean traditions, an accident happening in a recording booth or on the set of a music video actually means good luck to Koreans (as dangerous as that sounds).

MYNAME was recently hit with their own share of luck when an accident occurred on the set of their music video filming for “Hello & Goodbye“. The boys revealed that during a choreography scene, everyone started to see smoke coming from an unknown source. It turned out that three lighting equipments had burst consecutively, just missing the boys’ heads.

Fortunately, the members were able to move away from the accident and got away unharmed, but the staff couldn’t help but hold their breaths in fear. Fixing the accident caused a one hour delay.

Representatives stated, “Singers are always saying that they hit daebak after hearing ghosts voices in their recording booths. We’re happy that nobody was hurt. Everyone around us have been saying that the accident happened because a daebak was about to happen so we’re trying to think positively about it. We’ll work hard so that we really do hit a daebak.”

MYNAME is currently off to a strong start, ranking at the top of digital music charts and standing their ground at third on the Hanteo Chart right behind the Wonder Girls and Big Bang.

MYNAME unveils final comeback image teaser featuring Gunwoo

MYNAME has wrapped up their comeback countdown with the final reveal of leader Gunwoo‘s teaser image!

On the morning of May 25th, their official Twitter updated with Gunwoo’s comeback image featuring the member looking as charismatic as ever. He had already given fans a taste of what’s to come through his appearance in the ‘Hello & Goodbye‘ teaser so fans are looking forward to how he’ll fare in the full music video release.

Representatives of H2 Media revealed, “We trust that the boys will show their musical potential and passion to the public through this album. The focus of this album was put on their matured vocal talent and charms. As expected of Hwanhee’s juniors, this will be an opportunity to show what they’re made of.”

MYNAME releases comeback teaser images for Seyong and Chaejin

Following the teaser image releases of members Insoo and Jun Q, MYNAME has followed up today with members Seyong and Chaejin!

On May 24th, their company’s official Twitter updated with comeback photos of the two members dressed in their new concept. Driving away from his childish images, Seyong has completed his charismatic transformation with a chic expression and a meaningful gaze.

Maknae Chaejin’s transformation shows his maturity and growth since his debut, demonstrating the group’s 180 degree change in concept.

Stay tuned for the release of their second music video teaser on May 29th and the release of their first single, ‘Hello & Goodbye‘, on June 1st.
