Kim So Eun to star with Jang Woo Hyuk in Chinese drama, ‘Secret Angel’

Actress Kim So Eun will appear in Chinese drama, ‘Secret Angel‘ along with singer Jang Woo Hyuk.

Kim So Eun will act as a likable and cute angel named L, who makes many klutzy accidents and mistakes. Jang Woo Hyuk will act as her counterpart along with Chinese actor Chun Shi Ang.

With her popularity and success in ‘Boys Over Flowers‘ and recently completion of ‘A Thousand Kisses‘, many viewers are anticipating Kim So Eun’s transformation into this bubbly character.

‘Secret Angel’ will air in Beijing, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Jiangsu and around 27 main cities with digital TV, before airing it on cable TV.

With anticipating rising for the drama, especially with Kim So Eun’s recent casting, ‘Secret Angel’ began its first filming on March 3rd.

Jang Woo Hyuk goes to the soccer game with the cast of ’1N2D’ ‘Best Friend Special’

Jang Woo Hyuk and Lee Seo Jin, guests from the ‘Best Friend’ special of ’1N2D’, along with Lee Soo Geun, cheered on soccer players Lee Dong Gook and Lee Geun Ho at a recent soccer match.

On February 29th, Jang Woo Hyuk shared the above photo and wrote on his official Twitter page, “The ‘Best Friends’ of 1N2D came to cheer on Lee Dong Gook and Lee Geun Ho. Maybe it’s due to our support, but they scored one goal each hahahaha. Ah, feels good.”

The third qualifying rounds (Asia) for the 2014 World Cup Brazil took place at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on February 29th where South Korea was up against Kuwait.

In the photo, Jang Woo Hyuk posed with Lee Seo Jin and Lee Soo Geun at the soccer match, cheering on Lee Dong Gook and Lee Geun Ho, who were also guests on the ‘Best Friend’ special of ’1N2D’.

Jang Woo Hyuk posted the photo as soon as the game was over, displaying his close friendship with the members who filmed the episode with him.

During the last half of the game, Jang Woo Hyuk wrote, “I acknowledge that Kuwait has a bold plays, but Dong Gook and Geun Ho will take care of it hahaha.”

Once Lee Dong Gook put in Korea’s first goal and Lee Geun Ho scored again to win the game, netizens remarked that Jang Woo Hyuk’s prediction had come true.

In related news, Korea beat Kuwait 2:0.

Jang Woo Hyuk is worried about his new Chinese drama

Singer Jang Woo Hyuk who has been in cast in a new Chinese drama expressed his excitement as well as his concerns.

On December 26th, the singer wrote on his me2day page, “Did you guys have a good Christmas? I guess I will be in Hainan for this New Year’s. I’m headed to Beijing to film my drama. I never imagined that I would be in a drama. I’ll be back soon, I’m excited to see a different side of myself and hope to be pleasantly surprised by a new me.”

“So worried about my Chinese drama in March, so worried. I will be sure to show you what horrible acting looks like. Jang Woo Hyuk- displaying Hallyu’s ‘bad acting’ for the very first time.”

The actor also shared four selca shots of himself, looking chic and stylish while rocking a pair of black-rimmed glasses with a black scarf and black shirt to match.
