To thank fans for their love and support, JYP Entertainment launched their commemorative event ‘Fan’s Day 2012’ which will become an annual affair from this year onwards.
‘Fan’s Day 2012’ was held from 10AM - 10PM at Platoon Kunsthalle where over 4,000 were in attendance from August 3rd - 5th to have an enjoyable time with their idols up close.
There were many interesting exhibits for this event which included artists’ outfits, pictorials, album and lifestyle photos, making of music videos, free caricatures and hennas, shaved ice, experience being a star by wearing their outfits, and promotional activities.
Through the above exhibits, fans were able to see and interact with their idols up close.
Ye Eun, Hye Lim, Suzy, Fei, Chansung personally made and handed out coffee and snacks to fans; Wooyoung and Junsu became DJs and played songs at the request from fans; Taecyeon, Yubin, Fei, Suzy and Junho drew caricatures and hennas for fans; Sohee, JOO, JB, JR handed fans commemorative bracelets; Sunye and San-E were on stage to sing for the fans.
JYP Entertainment expressed, “Through this event, our company’s artists were able to get up close and personal with their fans and feel really happy to have done so. We will work even harder to shorten the distance between fans and JYP artists in future.”
Meanwhile, JYP Nation concluded a successful 3 hours long concert at the Seoul Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium on August 4th where J.Y. Park, Wonder Girls, 2PM, 2AM, miss A, JOO, San-E, and JJ Project performed and gave fans an unforgettable summer.
