Girls' Generation's postage stamps' sale are off to an explosive start on the first day. Representative from Seoul's post office stated that within the first hour of the release of the most anticipated Girls' Generation stamps on August 9th, half of the available are sold out.
According to the agency, Girls' Generation is the first idol group to release their own postage stamps , which has proven their unstoppable popularity as well as their image of the queen of Kpop.
The release of these stamps are also as in celebration of their fifth anniversary, there are a total of 14 sheets, in which, 9 of them used the images from their third album, “The Boys” along with their printed autographs on the stamps, the rest of other designs they used the CD covers from “Gee” and “Oh”.
