Wonder Girls Yenny Dishes on a Past Fight With Yubin

Though the Wonder Girls members have come to regard each other as sisters, like family there comes times even the close-knit Wonder Girls members come to differences as member Yenny recently revealed.

On the July 10 broadcast of SBS’ Strong Heart, Wonder Girls’ Yenny dished on a past fight that occurred between her and Yubin.

For the recording of G.N.O from the Wonder Girls’ Wonder World album, Yenny came to direct the song’s recording as she had helped compose and write the song.

As the song was Yenny’s, she wrote the rap for Yubin as well and gave her the lyrics but Yubin and Yenny both found the rap lyrics not working out, as Yubin had to keep re-recording her parts, with Yubin eventually telling Yenny that the rap wasn’t her style.

Additionally, Yenny felt disappointed in Yubin, feeling that Yubin didn’t prepare as much as she would normally if Park Jin Young was directing the song’s recording.




Tension began to escalate between the two until finally at the last rap part, Yubin cut off Yenny while Yenny was giving instructions.

Yenny finally couldn’t take it anymore and told Yubin to follow her outside. The two came to have a tear-filled conversation outside with Yubin telling Yenny she felt upset too because the recording wasn’t going well.

The recording for the track eventually halted for the day but Yenny shared that Yubin then practiced hard throughout the night and the next day the recording was completed in two to three takes.
