For her role as Arang, the young, unmarried ghost in the upcoming MBC drama Arang and the Magistrate, Shin Min Ah searches for the truth behind her death from her previous life while on the run from the grim reaper-like spirit, Moo Young (Han Sung Joo) who hunts down other ghosts who are caught on earth and unable to pass on to the other world.
In new still cuts released of Shin Min Ah, she is seen in full hanbok and on the run from Moo Young who seeks to capture her. Another cut shows her on the run though the still cuts does not reveal the reasons why she’s running.
Despite the scenes being shot numerous time in the summer heat, Shin Min Ah surprised everyone with her speed and for showing little signs of fatigue as the actress turned down offers of using a stunt double and did her own running scenes.
The drama will premiere on MBC on August 15.
