IU and B2ST’s Lee Gi Kwang, Kim Won Hyo Record for Animated Movie

IU, Lee Gi Kwang and Kim Won Hyo are about to get animated.

As previously reported, IU, Lee Gi Kwang and Kim Won Hyo have been cast to dub for the upcoming animated movie Sammy’s Adventure 2.

Ahead of the movie’s release CJ E&M released photos of the trio in the recording booth as they recorded their lines for the movie.

For the recording, IU won praise for her voice acting as the cute and lively baby turtle Elly.

Lee Gi Kwang shared on the movie, “I think this will be an animation the whole family can enjoy during the summer vacation. I hope many will come to watch it.”





In the movie, IU voices the baby turtle Elly, who is the granddaughter of sea turtle Sammy. Elly is a slightly clumsy but cute and bright character. Her friend is baby turtle Ricky, voiced by Lee Gi Kwang, and the two will set off together to rescue her grandfather, Sammy, who has been caught by poachers and placed in an aquarium in Dubai.

The movie will premiere in Korea on August 2.
