Gong Yoo Celebrates His Birthday with ‘Big’

It was Gong Yoo’s birthday on July 10 and while he forgot his own birthday because he was busy filming for KBS’ Big, the staff and fans made sure he had a happy birthday.

According to his company, Soop Entertainment, Gong Yoo celebrated his 33rd birthday on the filming set of his current drama Big.




As soon as it became July 10, the filming halted and the staff surprised Gong Yoo with a cake and wished him a happy birthday.

Gong Yoo then celebrated his birthday once again when fans from his official fan club, You&I sent over large birthday cakes along with 80 servings of delicious lunch boxes.

Currently acting as 19-year of Kang Kyung Joon on Big, Gong Yoo was all smiles on his birthday.




Meanwhile the romance between Kang Kyung Joon and his high school teacher, Gil Daran (Lee Min Jung) officially started on July 10’s episode, where both confirmed their feelings for each other.
