Infinite’s Hoya Poses like a 90’s Idol Star for ‘Respond 1997’

A 90’s baby, Infinite’s Hoya paid tribute and posed as a 90’s idol star.

Recently released photos showed the Infinite member giving five different poses, each reminiscent of the ‘big action and overexaggerated′ pose that idol stars in the 1990’s did.




The pictures were from tvN’s upcoming drama, Respond 1997 and said to have been taken when Hoya noticed the camera and decided to be silly.

With Respond 1997 being his acting debut, Hoya will take on the role of Kang Joon Hee, who is described as gentle and sweet teenager who is also the best dancer in Busan.

Respond 1997 is the story about six young men and women, living in the 90’s when idol stars such as H.O.T and Sechs Kies reigned all over Korea. The main characters meet at a high school reunion in 2012 at 33 years old, where they start reminiscing on their high school days in 1997.

Along with Hoya, Eun Ji Won, A Pinks Jung Eun Ji, and Seo In Guk will star in Respond 1997, which will air on July 24.
