Korean diva, Lee Hyori recently revealed the countryside home, she grew up in.
On May 6th, Hyori tweeted, “The cottage house that I was born in. They say that I left this house on my mother’s back when I was 2 years old. It’s so interesting to come back here after 32 years. Everything looks the same, just like in the photos.”
It appears that Lee Hyori recalled her childhood in light of Children’s Day, which is on May 5th in South Korea. South Korea was still a developing country in the early 1980s, after the Korean War. It wasn’t until the late 80s, that Korea started stabilizing and became a big economic power in Asia.
These cottage homes were very common back then, and some still exist today. It’s amazing to see how much South Korea has changed, as they now hold almost one thousand sky scrapers in the country.
