Although B.A.P made their debut just four months ago, the rookie group is achieving international fame as it appeared on the cover of the Hallyu magazine, ‘Trendy‘.
‘Trendy’ is a Taiwanese Hallyu magazine, published by Cite Media Holding Group, and owns 70% of the market share. ‘Trendy’ is named as one of the best Hallyu magazines and arguably the first or second highest selling magazines in Taiwan. In addition, if the license is permitted, the magazines will also sell in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Malaysia.
B.A.P has only released two singles so far and enjoyed the honor of gracing the cover, along with their senior artists like CN BLUE, Big Bang, and Shinhwa. According to a ‘Trendy’ magazine representative, B.A.P is the first Korean artist to appear on the cover without visiting Taiwan at all nor debuting in Taiwan through a drama.
In addition, not only did B.A.P appear on the cover of the May issue, but the group was given a 10-page spread of all the members, meeting the anticipation of all their Chinese fans.
With B.A.P making records through their second album, ‘POWER‘, the rookie group is blooming into a global K-pop star.
