Singer Park Jiyoon will be greeting her fans through tvN‘s ‘Opera Star 2012‘.
Park Jiyoon stated on January 3rd, “It’s really impressive that these singers are attempting a completely different genre of music, opera. I was so impressed with the way they developed each week. I always wanted to try opera, and I willingly accepted when I received the opportunity.”
With the addition of Park Jiyoon, viewers’ expectations for the new season of ‘Opera Star’ has further increased. The singer studied voice in college, and she will be able to properly showcase her capabilities on the show.
An insider from the program stated, “Park Jiyoon is famous for her unique vocal techniques. We are excited to hear her sing opera.”
‘Opera Star’ is a survival program where singers attempt to sing opera. This season, the judging panel and the MC will be different from the first, and the program is currently in the casting process. The singers to battle against Park Jiyoon will be revealed one by one, and the first episode airs February 10th.
